摘要: The present invention provides a drawing tool for an artist, draughtsman or hobbyist etc., the drawing tool comprising a handle and a retaining means disposed on the handle. The retaining means being adapted to releasably retain an elongate drawing material, such as a graphite lead, in an orientation substantially transverse to the axis of the handle. In use, manipulation of the handle and selective application of pressure to the elongate drawing material enables the drawing material to be applied to a drawing surface to thereby control the degree of shading on the drawing surface. The hand tool has particular application to reliably rendering gradients when shading with graphite and chalk etc. To be accompanied, when published, by FIG. 1 of the drawings, deposit varying thicknesses of graphite on the paper to modify the gradient of the shading.

摘要: The invention aims at providing a solid writing material that does not adversely affect the color changing property of script and can obtain sufficient strength. This aim is achieved by the solid writing material that includes: a reversible thermochromic microcapsuled pigment encapsulating a temperature-sensitive color-changeable color-memorizing composition; an excipient; and a resin; the temperature-sensitive color-changeable color-memorizing composition including at least (a) an electron-donating coloring organic compound, (b) an electron accepting compound and (c) a reaction medium effecting reversibly an electron transfer reaction between the (a) and (b) components in a specific temperature range; wherein the excipient or the resin includes a styrene-structure-containing polymer.

摘要: A non-toxic moldable phosphorescent marker has phosphorescent pigment particles that are suspended in a milled mixture of an inert filler and a wax blend base. The phosphorescent pigment particles, which impart luminescent properties to the marker, are excited by light. The composition of the marker is such that it leaves a strip of phosphorescent marking material on a surface against which the marker is rubbed. The deposited material contains the suspended phosphorescent particles, which luminesces when excited by light.
