Abstract:
Provided are an erasing implement and a writing implement equipped with the erasing implement, the erasing implement being capable of erasing writing regardless of the type of ink or lead of the writing implement, even writing with thermochromic ink or writing with pencil lead. The erasing implement is equipped with a first erasing member for erasing writing with thermochromic ink and a second erasing member for erasing writing of types other than thermochromic ink, and is configured by covering the outer surface of the second erasing member with the first erasing member.
Abstract:
A writing device can be configured to provide ink or a colored dye upon a piece of paper or other medium. Such a writing device can include a plurality of selectable writing elements, wherein one of the writing elements comprises marker device comprising an ink reservoir connected to a writing tip.
Abstract:
A hand held variable tool for use in casino operations that has optional functions of, at least, (i) a small tip writing instrument such as a pencil or pen, (ii) a large tip writing instrument such as a marker, and (iii) a cutting or scoring tool, such as a sharp-tipped needle or nail to aid in “scoring” and opening the cellophane around a new deck of playing cards. The tool can be clipped to the badge of a user for ease of transport while not in use.
Abstract:
A writing instrument is provided. The instrument has (a) a body having opposing first and second ends, the body comprising a marking element extending from one or both ends, and (b) a sheet dispenser coupled to a first cap that is able to engage the first or the second end of the body portion, the dispenser comprising (i) a base disposed on the first cap; and (ii) a cover removably, e.g., slideably, engageable with the base, wherein the dispenser is disposed axially along a centerline of the writing element.
Abstract:
A stylus includes a housing, a stylus body including a tip, a pen including a head, a first rotating member and a second rotating member. The first rotating member is coupled between the housing and the stylus body so the stylus body rotatably engages with the housing. The second rotating member is coupled between the housing and the pen so the pen rotatably engages with the housing. When the stylus body rotates relative to the housing, the tip moves from a first side of the first rotating member to a second side of the first rotating member opposite to the first side of the first rotating member; when the pen rotates relative to the housing, the head moves from a first side of the second rotating member to a second side of the second rotating member opposite to the first side of the second rotating member.
Abstract:
A multi-tipped device is disclosed. The device includes a central ring to receive a finger; and first and second portions oppositely extended from the central ring, each of the first and second portions including an elongated housing extending from the central ring and a tip at a distal end of the housing, wherein the ring and the tip are rotatable around the finger.
Abstract:
A writing instrument is disclosed that can enhance the speed and accuracy for a respondent using an optical machine response form. This writing instrument includes at least two reservoirs for dispensing two independent fluids with different optical reflectivity, whereby an application of the second fluid on top of a layer marked with the first fluid of the response form, modifies the digital response from the optical machine.
Abstract:
A combination pen, pencil and circular marking implement that can be utilized as a pen or pencil writing tool and for circular ink marking on printed surfaces for word game and puzzle solution includes a central passageway for accommodating ink cartridges or lead pencil cartridges encompassed by an ink reservoir that communicates with a cylindrical marking die for circling numbers and letters, and the marking die capable of advancement or retraction by rotation of a tool gripping collar attached to the body of the combination writing and marking implement whereupon rotation of the tool gripping collar engages internal cams for actuating the advancement and retraction of the marking die so that either the pen/pencil writing function or the circular ink marking function can be selected for use.
Abstract:
A writing instrument having a substantially tubular body including a first and second end and a writing tip associated with the first end. The writing instrument includes a receptacle integrally formed within the second end and having a retaining portion to engage a removable auxiliary module including a securing portion, the removable auxiliary module adapted to be secured within the receptacle by the cooperation of the retaining portion and the securing portion. The writing instrument further includes an auxiliary module cap adapted to engage both the second end adjacent to the retaining and securing portions and the first end adjacent to the writing tip.
Abstract:
In a writing utensil according to the present invention, when a rearward outer cylinder is rotated in either direction, a cam engaging projection, which is integral with the rearward outer cylinder, slides pressingly on either of the respective cam surfaces of first and second sliders. This causes one of the first and second sliders to advance, which in turn causes a first of the first and second refills to project forwardly while the other remains retracted. Similarly, when the rearward outer cylinder is rotated in the opposite direction, the cam engaging projection slides pressingly on the other of the cam surfaces of the first and second sliders. This causes advancement of the other of the sliders, and in turn causes the second of the first and second refills to be projected while the first remains retracted. The construction allows these operations to be smoothly, stably and positively performed.
