Abstract:
A writing instrument includes: a replacement ink cartridge including a bottomed cylindrical container that has an opened front end and a closed rear end and a plug fitted into an inner circumferential surface of an opening of the container; and a projection inserted into the opening of the container to press the plug rearward, thereby opening the plug of the ink cartridge, wherein the projection and the plug are fitted when the plug is press opened, and when the cartridge is replaced, the fitting between the projection and the plug is released and the plug is locked again in the opening of the container.
Abstract:
Provided is a writing instrument or an applicator using resin parts formed, by way of two-color molding, to have an optimal guiding clearance between slide members. A plurality of resin molded parts is included. At least one of the plurality of resin molded parts is formed as a primary molding, and at least another one of the resin molded parts is formed as a secondary molding, by way of two-color molding, using a portion of a surface of the primary molding. The primary molding and the secondary molding are separated to be used as independent members. In this case, the primary molding and the secondary molding are preferably configured to slide against each other by each separating portion.
Abstract:
In a method, a response sheet is provided to a user. The response sheet includes a machine-readable form having a number of response areas where the user can provide responses. After being received from the user, the response sheet has ones of the response areas marked by the user with a non-reflective fluid and also has other ones of the response areas being marked by the user with a reflective fluid. The received response sheet includes response areas marked with the non-reflective and the reflective fluid that were not marked in the provided response sheet. Responses provided by the user can be determined using an optical reading apparatus.
Abstract:
A multi-color writing marker may comprise a tubular marker barrel connected to a motor housing. The marker barrel may house a cartridge removably coupled to a drive shaft connected to a motor. The cartridge may include a plurality of reservoirs containing writing liquids of different colors. A marker tip may be mounted on a distal end of the cartridge. The marker tip supports a plurality of marker nibs corresponding to the number of cartridge reservoirs. Each marker nib may be is in fluid communication with a corresponding reservoir. Actuation of the motor spins the cartridge and marker nibs while a user is simultaneous creating a design on the writing surface.
Abstract:
Provided is a writing instrument, having high cartridge replaceability and excellent convenience, that is capable of suppressing inappropriate ink leakage that easily occurs when a used cartridge container is pulled out even when the writing instrument uses a replacement ink cartridge with a plug to be press opened.

Abstract:
A writing instrument is disclosed that can enhance the speed and accuracy for a respondent using an optical machine response form. This writing instrument includes at least two reservoirs for dispensing two independent fluids with different optical reflectivity, whereby an application of the second fluid on top of a layer marked with the first fluid of the response form, modifies the digital response from the optical machine.
Abstract:
The invention provides an ink replenishment cartridge and a writing instrument using the ink replenishment cartridge where new ink can be easily replenished in the writing instrument in which ink has been spent completely. The invention has a characteristic that the ink replenishment cartridge is provided with an ink tank having an ink discharge port, ink filled in the ink tank and a closing cap detachably mounted on the ink tank to close the ink discharge port and the ink tank is installed with the ink discharge port communicating with an opening at a rear end of a stem of the writing instrument from which a detachable tail cotter is removed.
Abstract:
The invention provides a writing instrument that can prevent excessive ink from flowing from a writing part integrated with inner fiber and can prevent the writing part from being displaced in a longitudinal direction. An encapsulated fiber type writing instrument in which the front end side of inner fiber 60 inserted into a stem 40 is protruded from a front end of the stem 40 to use the front end side for a writing part 61 has a characteristic that an annular protrusion 43a that presses an outside face of the inner fiber 60 is provided to an inside face on the front end side of the stem 40.
