Abstract:
[Problem]To provide a cushion pad that allows reducing the oppressive feeling in a thigh and the sinking of buttocks and improving the texture and the fit feeling.[Solution]In a portion positioned underneath a hip point of a seated person, an under-buttock portion is set to have a smaller force S25 during compression to 25% in a second portion including a seating surface than S25 of the first portion positioned on a bottom surface side. The thigh supporting portion is set to have smaller S25 of a portion including the seating surface than S25 of the first portion. This allows reducing the oppressive feeling in the thigh and the sinking of the buttocks and improving the texture and the fit feeling.
Abstract:
A seating assembly includes a seatback frame having first and second pivot apertures defined on an inside surface of first and second side members, respectively, of the seatback frame. A seat includes a cushion assembly supported on a polymeric seat storage lid having a rear vertical wall and a forward lateral body. The forward lateral body is defined by a plurality of upwardly-opening support cells. First and second metal pivot pins extend from first and second sides of the rear vertical wall of the seat storage lid and engage such that a seat is operable between open and closed positions. A forward rounded hump is detachably coupled with a top surface of the seat storage lid. The forward rounded hump is configured to lessen the potential of an occupant to slide forward in the seat. A lock is operably coupled with the seat storage lid.
Abstract:
A vehicle seat includes a load sensor that is configured to measure a load applied from an occupant, a seat cushion frame that includes a right side frame and a left side frame, and a pan frame. At least one of the right and left side frames includes an upper-side protruding section provided at an upper part of the at least one side frame and a lower-side protruding section provided at a lower part of the at least one side frame, the upper-side protruding section and the lower-side protruding section extending along a right-left axis. At least one load sensor attachment bracket of the vehicle seat is attached to the at least one side frame between the upper-side protruding section and the lower-side protruding section.
Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle seat that improves a sitting feeling while having a high followability with respect to an occupant sitting on the seat. A seat cushion of a vehicle seat includes right and left side frames, a pan frame connecting the front portions of the side frames to each other, and an occupant support member connecting the side frames to each other at the rear side of the pan frame. The front end of the occupant support member inclined backward is disposed higher at the upper position than the rear end of the pan frame. A thigh support portion at the center of the pan frame extends toward the occupant support member more than both right and left ends.
Abstract:
A vehicle seat includes a load sensor for measuring a load applied from an occupant and a seat cushion frame, wherein the seat cushion frame comprises right and left side frames extending in a front-and-rear direction, the load sensor is attached to the seat cushion frame, and a concave portion is formed in at least one of the right and left side frames at a position opposite to the load sensor.
Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle seat capable of allowing an occupant's upper body to sink into a seatback without suppressing a rearward movement of the occupants' waist. The vehicle seat includes: a seatback frame which includes a pair of side frames, an upper frame connecting the pair of side frames to each other at the upper portions thereof, and one or more connection members connecting the pair of side frames to each other at the lower portions thereof; and a reclining device provided below the pair of side frames in which the connection members each includes ends jointed to the pair of side frames and a center portion positioned at the substantially center part of the connection member, and an upper surface of the center portion is provided below the occupant's waist.
Abstract:
A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat back and a seat base extending forward from a lower end of the seat back. The seat base is formed of a first foam member extending laterally across the seat base to absorb loads and a second foam member formed over the first member to form a seating surface of the seat base. The first foam member includes at least one channel for interlocking the first foam member and a second foam member.
Abstract:
An upper rail is movable in a rear and front direction with respect to a lower rail fixed to a vehicle floor. A load sensor is fixed to an upper surface of the upper rail 4, and a rectangular frame 30 is attached onto the load sensor. A rod of the load sensor sequentially penetrates a web of the rectangular frame, a plain washer and a spring holder upward, and a coil spring is wound around the rod. A bush is fitted to an edge of a hole of the plain washer, and a step difference is formed between an upper surface of the plain washer and the bush. A nut is screwed to the rod, and the nut tightens a bottom of a cup portion of the spring holder. In such a way, the coil spring is sandwiched between the spring holder and the web and is compressed, and an end portion of the coil spring engages with the step difference.
