摘要： A winch activated loaded platform is described to enable single person loading and unloading of heavy objects into a cargo carrying vehicle, like a pickup truck. The device is installed in the vehicle and loads a platform into the vehicle with a singular electric winch, without the use of hydraulics, booms, or ramps. A novel sheet metal and ball bearing receiver aligns and transitions the platform from vertical to horizontal loading into the vehicle with a singular winch and winch cable. V-groove ball bearing wheels on the base and steel angle track on the platform reduce friction for loading and unloading of the platform. A system of horizontal and vertical latches keep the platform secure during transport. Cargo is secured with tie down points for large cargo such as motorcycles and sidewall mounts for loose materials and fragmented cargo. A removable and stowable frame section preserves functionality of a pickup truck tailgate.

摘要： Another implementation of the present disclosure is a refuse vehicle. The refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body coupled with the chassis, a tailgate, an electric lock, and a fully electric tailgate actuator assembly. The body assembly defines a refuse compartment. The tailgate is coupled with a rear of the body and is transitionable between a first position to limit access to the refuse compartment and a second position to allow access to the refuse compartment. The electric lock is operable between an engaged state and a disengaged state to limit movement of the tailgate out of the first position when the electric lock is in the engaged state. The fully electric tailgate actuator assembly is configured to transition the tailgate between the first position and the second position.

摘要： A cable actuated dump trailer assembly includes a vehicle having a frame. A dump trailer is pivotally coupled to the frame. A first jack arm is pivotally coupled to the frame. The first jack arm abuts the dump trailer offset from a rear end of the dump trailer whereby the first jack arm exerts an upward force on the dump trailer pivoting the dump trailer into a dumping position. A winch is coupled to the frame. A first cable is coupled to the winch and the dump trailer. A first pulley is coupled to the first jack arm. A medial portion of the first cable engages the first pulley whereby the first cable urges the first jack arm towards an upright position as the first cable is wound onto the winch whereby the dump trailer is urged into the dumping position.

The front portion is fixably mounted to the frame (12, 212 or 312) of the trailer. The back portion is able to be lowered to form a ramp for loading and unloading the trailer. A cable and pulley system (40, 240 or 340) is used to raise and lower the back portion of the bed. The cable(s) (50, 250, 251 or 350) of the cable and pulley system can be loosened or tightened using either a winch (52) or a hydraulic winch (266 or 366). The pivot point of the back portion is located in front of the axle (16) of the trailer which creates a longer leverage arm which allows for easier lifting of the back portion of the bed.

The vehicle crane unit includes a vehicle horizontal base and a vertical frame that extends up from the base. A boom pivots on the vehicle and is held in various desired positions by stops that are attached to the vertical frame. The boom has a pulley wheel that can receive a winch-pulled cable that can be attached to an object or a container. By stopping the boom in various positions and taking in, letting out, or repositioning the cable, the vehicle crane unit pulls and lifts the object or container to a desired location. An optional container is designed to rest on and cooperate with the vehicle crane unit, for dumping contents from the container or for on-loading and off-loading the container with its contents.

摘要： A trailer for towing by family saloon cars and the like has a wheeled frame (12) with a towing hitch (34) at the front. The frame has a respective ramp rail (22) at each side to enable a skip (14) to be drawn onto the frame, a support wheel (25) of the skip engaging on each rail. The skip can carry heavy bulk loads such as sand or bricks in the region of a ton which normal car trailers could not support. In addition, the mounting of the skip on the trailer frame by means of support wheels enables the skip to be pivoted in situ to tip out its load. Tipping, and mounting and demounting of the skip are effected using winch (16) supported on the frame near the towing hitch. The trailer also has a pivotable ramp (50) enabling the trailer to be used to carry heavy plant such as a cement mixer or roller.

摘要： A waste collection system including a trailer and a towing vehicle which is selectively interconnectable with the trailer. The trailer, which may be divided into a number of separate interior compartments, has a prow-shaped forward end wall which extends beyond and above the trailer hitch to enlarge the material-receiving capacity of the trailer. A towing vehicle is disclosed which can selectively elevate and tilt the trailer sufficiently to dump the contents of the trailer. An alternative towing vehicle is disclosed which provides a trailer hitch having a limited extent of vertical adjustment necessary to raise and lower a parking support associated with the trailer. The trailer is provided with a ground support stand which is automatically locked in downward support position.

摘要： A dump body for a pick-up truck in which the dump body is placed within a truck body and has its rear end pivotally mounted adjacent to the rear end of the truck body. A pair of rear posts are mounted on the sides of the truck body and a pair of front posts are also removably secured to the truck body sides. Pulleys are mounted at the tops of the rear posts and a cable mechanism has a cable extending from a winch on the truck body to a pulley on a front post and then the cable extends to a top pulley on a rear post and from there the cable is passed through two pulleys mounted at the two front corners of the dump body. The cable then extends to the top pulley of the other rear post and the end of the cable is secured to the other front post. This cable arrangement provides a compound lifting effect to the front of the dump body when the cable is wound upon the winch drum. The dump body has a spreader gate and a pair of laterally swingable half covers normally close the top of the dump body.
