摘要： The relates to a method for operating a driver assistance unit of a motor vehicle using a navigation target specification device. A control unit operates by: receiving a target specification signal describing a projection on a trafficable driving surface; establishing the portion of the trafficable driving surface to which the light of the projection is applied as a driving target region; and, based on the received target specification signal, establishing a relative position of the motor vehicle relative to the driving target region. There is also a step of receiving an orientation signal from an orientation detection unit of the navigation target specification device, which describes a spatial target specification orientation of the navigation target specification device in the driving target region, on which basis a navigation target is established. Depending on the established relative position and the established navigation target, there is a step of establishing a movement path to the navigation target, a step of generating a navigation signal describing a controlling of the motor vehicle along the established movement path, and a step of transmitting the generated navigation signal to the driver assistance unit of the motor vehicle.

摘要： In one embodiment, the present invention includes an apparatus to aid in parking a vehicle. The apparatus includes a mounting member, a horizontal member, a vertical member, and an indicator. The horizontal member is coupled to the mounting member. The horizontal member extends from the vehicle and defines a required distance from a side of the vehicle to a first periphery of a parking space. The vertical member is coupled to the horizontal member that defines a second periphery. The indicator is coupled to the vertical member such that the first periphery may be compared with the second periphery in aligning the vehicle within the parking space.

摘要： A flagpole lamp of a vehicle head includes a pole, a socket joint, a circuit board, a positioning base, a waterproof washer, a lucent bar and a pole head. The circuit board, the positioning base and the waterproof washer are fitted in the socket joint. The circuit board has a light inserted through a through hole in the positioning base and the waterproof washer respectively. The lucent bar is fixed on the socket joint and dug with a hole, having the pole head put thereon. The light of the circuit board can be lit up to emit light out of the lucent bar to enable a driver to clearly see the head corners and the position of an vehicle while turning on headlights, flashing other colored light to let drivers of cars running beside and behind the vehicle can be warned to advance traffic security.

The invention specifically supports safe overtaking manoeuvres of large vehicles like trucks. The invention further includes a device, a vehicle and an adapted road for performing the method, and based thereupon.

摘要： A corner or end position indicating apparatus for an automotive vehicle comprises a light source 6 emitting light, and first and second marker point indicators 2 and 3. The first marker point indicator 2, displayed red, is larger and brighter than the second marker point indicator 3 displayed blue. A first optical path is defined between the first marker point indicator 2 and the light source 6, and a second optical path is defined between the second marker point indicator 3 and the light source 6. The first optical path is longer than the second optical path. A concave mirror 5 alters a direction of the light emitted from the light source 5 upward a rear window glass R of the automotive vehicle. The first marker point indicator 2, the light source 6 and the concave mirror 5 are cooperative to form an image 2a of the first marker point indicator 2 at a position corresponding to a corner or end position of a vehicle body. Meanwhile, the second marker point indicator 3, the light source 6 and the concave mirror 5 are cooperative to form an image 3a of the second marker point indicator 3 at a position far from the corner or end position of the vehicle body.
