摘要： The cab guard for a pickup truck has a horizontal base member made of square hollow structural steel; an upright structure extending upward from the horizontal base member, and two anchor brackets for attachment to sides of a pickup truck box. Each of the anchor brackets has a stem made of square hollow structural steel and an anchor plate extending at right angle from the stem. Each stem is telescopically engaged in one end of the horizontal base member. The cab guard also comprises a pair of J-shaped hooks extending through the anchor plates for attachment to the stake pockets of a pickup truck box, for retaining the anchor plates to the sides of the pickup truck box. The universal cab guard is mountable to the front stake pockets of a pickup truck box and is adjustable to match the width between the stake pockets.

摘要： The present invention provides a system and method for tethering that may be used to keep a cushion properly positioned for side impact protection, particularly in vehicles with limited space rearward of the cushion. A tethering assembly provides tension to keep the cushion in place. The tethering assembly may include a tether with first and second ends attached together such that the tether forms a loop. The first and/or second ends may also be attached to a lower portion of the cushion. Upper and lower anchors may be attached to a vehicle surface near the cushion to slidably retain the tether. When the cushion inflates, the first and second ends move downward. The lower anchor may be a locking mechanism that restricts withdrawal of the first end. During deployment and impact of a vehicle occupant with the cushion, the tensioning assembly exerts tension to keep the cushion in place.

摘要： The pickup truck has a back panel separating the passenger compartment and cargo bed, connected to the rear floor panel of the vehicle and formed with an opening which is opened and closed by a hinged panel. A lower back panel constitutes the lower end of the back panel and defines the bottom edge of the opening. The lower back panel has a forward flange and a backward flange extending a certain distance from its front and rear ends. The flanges are connected to the rear floor panel such that the lower back panel and the rear floor panel together form a closed space therein. Thereby, the rigidity of the lower back panel, in particular, the bottom edge of the opening in the back panel where a cargo tray is mounted is increased, so that deformation of the lower back panel due to heavy cargo load can be prevented. The front circumferential edge of the forward flange is bent upward, and drain parts which extend through the rear floor panel are formed at predetermined positions in the forward flange. The structure thus ensures that rain water entering the passenger compartment can be swiftly drained to the outside of the vehicle.

摘要： A vehicle rollguard comprising at least one member of stanchions and struts which are detachably connected. The connections include a necked-down end of one of the interconnecting members and an opening in the other interconnecting member for receiving the necked-down end. The opening in the interconnecting member can be in the sidewall or be an open end. Pairs of opposed aligned apertures in each interconnecting member form a passage for a bolt or other securement means. Securement to a vehicle includes a bracket in the form of a plate having openings for bolting to a vehicle and a pair of upstanding tabs having opposed aligned apertures. Another pair of opposed aligned apertures on the end of the rollguard member to be secured line up with the apertures in the tabs for passage of a bolt or other securement means. A disc of hard plastic overlies the plate and is disposed between the bracket and the end of the rollguard member to be secured.

The cab guard including a rigid screen structure, a pair of rigid end brackets, and mounting means for mounting the screen structure in alternate first and second operating positions. In the first operating position, the end brackets are attached to the ends of the screen structure and extend outwardly of the screen structure in a plane coplanar with the screen mesh and the cab guard is mounted in the front stake pockets of a wide-bed pickup truck. In the second of the operating positions, the end brackets are attached to the ends of the screen structure and extend in planes perpendicular to the screen mesh and the end brackets are mounted to the bed rails of a mini-pickup truck.

摘要： A collapsible safety barrier for protecting the rear window of the pickup truck and occupants in the cab, from any shifting cargo being transported in the bed.A collapsible safety barrier attached to the inside front bed rail of a pickup truck beneath the exterior of the rear cab window. When erected in the upright position, above said barrier protects passengers in truck cab from shifting cargo in the bed of the truck. In addition, from the erected position, said barrier permits protecting the front window of any installed truck cap from shifting or loading cargo. When not in use, said barrier retracts up to 180 degrees to an inverted position within the confines of a truck bed. When collapsed, it allows use of a rear split window for accessing the cargo area from within the cab or installation of truck bed cover.
