摘要: A passenger seat and a row of passenger seats of a type wherein each seat includes a seatback for locating amenities for use by an aft-seated passenger. The seatback includes a video monitor positioned in an upper portion of the seatback, a first seatback pocket positioned below the video monitor, and a second seatback pocket positioned below the first seatback pocket. Each of the first and second seatback pockets includes a member configured to move apart from the seatback to facilitate access to a bottom of the respective seatback pocket. In embodiments, the first and second seatback pockets are positioned in respective first and second recesses formed in the seatback.

The system includes a plurality of sensor circuits that collect a plurality of sensor data values from in-flight entertainment (IFE) network. The system includes a sensor data processor that interprets the plurality of sensor data values. The system includes a passenger profile management controller configured that filters the plurality of sensor data values by processing a plurality of passenger profiles that are related to at least some of the plurality of sensor data values. The system generates a measurement index that is normalized with respect to the plurality of sensor data values or the plurality of passenger profiles.

摘要: A monitor detachably fixed to a wall surface includes an attaching-detaching device disposed between the monitor and the wall surface and configured to detachably fix the monitor to the wall surface. The attaching-detaching device includes a swing member having a distal end and a proximal end, a hinge mechanism configured to be attachable to the wall surface and support the proximal end of the swing member such that the distal end of the swing member is swingable to approach or leave the wall surface, a swing member engagement portion provided on a rear surface opposite to a display screen of the monitor and engaged with the swing member, and a lock mechanism provided on the rear surface of the monitor and configured to unlockably lock the swing member being engaged with the swing member engagement portion.

摘要: A device for inputting data into an information processing apparatus using a communication cable. The device includes a sensing field including signal lines. The sensing field generates one or more signals when an object is proximate thereto. The device further includes at least one processor connected to the signal lines. The processor receives the signals and generates data based on the signals. The device additionally includes a port in communication with the processor for data output. The port is configured to connect to the cable end communicate the data over the cable to the information processing apparatus. The device includes a light source configured to illuminate keyboard symbols corresponding to areas of the sensing field. The device also includes an exterior surface covering the sensing field and obscuring the keyboard symbols from visibility unless the light source is providing illumination.

摘要: Deployment apparatus (10) including a deployment object (12), a deployment arm (16) with a first end (22) coupled to the deployment object and a second end (24) having a pivot (26), and a hinge assembly (18) rotatably attached to the pivot of the deployment arm. The hinge assembly (18) includes an enclosure (44) and a friction stop device (82) disposed within the enclosure such that the friction stop device includes a friction portion (80) configured to be pressed against a lateral surface of the pivot (26) of the deployment arm such that the friction portion provides a predetermined torque. The predetermined torque may be calculated based on maintaining a deployed angle of the deployment arm (16) such that the deployment object (12) is held in a raised deployed position.

A table is housed by the first console. The table is arranged for movement to a stowed position, in which the table is inserted within said first console. The table is arranged for, optionally horizontal, movement to a deployed position, in which the table is positioned aft of the first console so as to be suitable for use by a passenger seated in the first seat. The table may be arranged to present different areas of useable table surface.

摘要: Seating arrangements for seats configurable between an upright and lie-flat position are presented. A three-seat grouping can include a lower aft-facing seating assembly, an upper seating assembly, and a lower fore-facing seating assembly in which the lower seating assemblies underlap the upper seating assembly when in a lie-flat position. Lower seats can be aligned or angled with respect to an upper seat in a manner that conserves space. A six-seat grouping can include 3-seat groupings in which lower seats are aligned with upper seats, or are angled with respect to them. Support structures can be shared by adjacent seats. A six-seat grouping can be embodied as a hybrid arrangement in which footspace is narrower for a lower opposing seat than for a lower seat facing the same direction as an upper seat. In an example embodiment, footspace can be divided between an upper seat and a lower opposing seat.

摘要: A vehicle seating arrangement can comprise a fore-facing lower seating assembly, an aft-facing lower assembly, and an upper seating assembly positioned between the fore-facing and aft-facing lower assemblies. The lower and upper assemblies can be configured to form a 3-seat unit in which a portion of a seat of said fore-facing and aft-facing lower seat assemblies underlaps a portion of an upper seating assembly. At least one of the fore-facing and aft-facing lower assemblies can be angled with respect to the upper seating assembly to shorten the overall linear dimension of the 3-seat unit and provide egress areas for lower passengers to aisle access. A vertical member can be configured to attach to the upper seating assembly and to a ceiling structure to reduce the load on the floor.

摘要: Described are display assemblies having a display coupled to a passenger seat back, a video shroud coupled to the passenger seat back and with an inner opening positioned adjacent the display, wherein a gap is positioned between an outer edge of the display and an edge of the inner opening, and an adaptor having a lip and coupled to the video shroud, wherein the lip is positioned adjacent the gap. A portion of the lip may surround at least the outer edge of the display and/or may overlap a portion of the video shroud.

The assembly includes a mounting plate having opposite edges, a front surface extending therebetween, and a rear surface opposite the front surface. The mounting plate is mountable to the vehicle with the front surface of the mounting plate facing outward. The assembly includes a first locking mechanism disposed proximate one edge of the mounting plate and a second locking mechanism disposed proximate the other edge. Each locking mechanism includes a jaw extending over the front surface of the mounting plate and pivotable between closed and open positions.
