摘要： There is provided a medicine packaging method, which is capable of rapidly coping with errors occurring during processes. The medicine packaging method includes the following steps: a medicine supplying step for supplying a relevant medicine according to a prescription data; a medicine standby step for allowing the supplied medicine to temporarily stand by; a medicine detecting step for detecting the standing by medicine; a printing step for printing a packaging paper when the medicine based on the prescription data is detected; a conveying step for conveying the packaging paper; and a packaging step for supplying the temporarily standing by medicine to a printed portion of the packaging paper and packaging the medicine. The steps are performed in sequence.

摘要： A bottle handling device for assisting in inserting a number of similar sized bottles into a secondary container, such as a partitionless beer carton. The device comprises a frame which, when inserted into the empty carton, provides a number of similar sized cells or compartments equal to the number of bottles which would completely fill the carton. The frame is maintained by support means above the shoulders of the bottles when located in the carton. Each bottle is inserted into, and its main body passes through, the frame until the bottle sits on the carton floor, the walls of each cell preventing a bottle in that cell from toppling over and hindering the insertion of further bottles and completion of filling of the carton. Upon completion and filling of the carton, the device is readily removed for reuse and the bottles are maintained in their upright condition by contacting adjacent bottles and the carton walls.

摘要： A grid finger is disclosed which is attachable to a grid structure for guiding articles delivered to the grid structure from an article supply source into containers. The grid finger includes a compressible resilient member projecting from the upper end thereof. A grid finger receiving member defining a receiving recess receiving the upper end of the grid finger and the compressible resilient member is provided. The grid finger receiving member has portions defining an aperture for receiving the compressible resilient member such that the grid finger may be inserted into the receiving member in a correct orientation only. Also disclosed are grid structure guide members having oppositely angled upper portions which contact the lower surfaces of articles delivered to the grid structure for both separating articles and for guiding the articles into passages provided in the grid structure.

摘要： A guide mechanism for a case packer is characterized by a mounting member, a plurality of guide member fingers, and a plurality of expansion springs, each spring connecting a different finger to the mounting member and also biasing the bottom of the finger towards a converging position with the other finger bottoms. The springs act substantially vertically, enabling substantially unlimited universal pivoting of the fingers relative to the mounting member and thereby reducing the likelihood of finger breakage in the event of a jam.
