Abstract:
A cage can be positioned around a medical balloon, such as an angioplasty balloon, to assist in a medical procedure. The cage can include a plurality of strips, each extending between a set of rings including first and second rings. As the balloon expands, the first and second rings move closer together and allow the strips to expand outward. The cage may have wedge dissectors on the strips.
Abstract:
A composite pallet structure includes a unit pallet including: upper and lower basic supporting boards, at least two spaced-apart auxiliary rods attached to each of the corresponding sides of the upper and lower basic supporting boards, a plurality of spacers distributed between the auxiliary rods on the upper basic supporting board and the auxiliary rods on the lower basic supporting board, and a plurality of fixing elements for restricting the spacers within the space between the upper and lower basic supporting boards in order for the unit pallet to have high supporting strength. The composite pallet structure needs no soldering and, therefore, can be easily repaired and recycled.
Abstract:
The disclosure refers to a container for storing and providing at least one modular road paver assembly designed for detachable mounting on a road paver. The container comprises a storage system by means of which individual components of the road paver assembly can be positioned within the container in a standardized arrangement, such that the components of the road paver assembly can be checked for completeness by an operator by means of a visual inspection along a sequence determined between opposite boundaries of the container in view of their assembly sequence on the road paver.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a modular-construction storage and transporting unit (1) for a roll (2) made of a material web, in particular a sheet-material strip, which is wound up on a winding core. The storage and transporting unit (1) comprises a support in which fork tines of an industrial truck can engage. The storage and transporting unit also comprises at least two supporting walls (3), which are arranged opposite one another in the roll-transporting position and each have at least one plug-in opening (4) for accommodating one end of the winding core, and/or allow a retaining sleeve (6) to engage through them, in which case the roll is accommodated axially between the supporting walls (3). The support here is formed from at least two supporting runners (7a), wherein, in the roll-transporting position, the supporting runners (7a) are arranged at a distance apart from one another, and preferably parallel to one another, and the supporting walls (3) are arranged, and retained, on these supporting runners.
Abstract:
A collapsible container comprising a base comprising a plurality of grooves located at a periphery of a top surface of said base; a first sleeve having a first set of three flat surfaces; wherein at least one first flat surface of said first set of three flat surfaces comprises an extension of said first flat surface adapted to be inserted in at least one groove of said plurality of grooves; a second sleeve having a second set of three flat surfaces; wherein at least one second flat surface of said second set of three flat surfaces comprises an extension of said second flat surface adapted to be inserted in at least one groove of said plurality of grooves; where when said first sleeve and said second sleeve are located in their respective grooves, they completely surround said base; where said plurality of grooves do not comprise a full-angled groove.
Abstract:
A cargo pallet is disclosed. The cargo pallet may have a pallet base. The cargo pallet may also have a pallet liner. The pallet liner may have a pallet liner base. The pallet liner base may be positioned on the pallet base. The pallet liner may also have a pallet extension, which may be fixedly attached to the pallet liner base. The pallet extension may project outwardly from the pallet liner base. The pallet extension may also have a support surface that may at least in part extend outwardly beyond a footprint of the pallet base.
Abstract:
A system and method are provided for optimized shelf product shipping, storage, and display utilizing a pallet and one or more unassembled shelf assemblies designed for compact arrangement on the pallet. The system includes a standard size pallet and a plurality of unassembled shelf assemblies. Multiple unassembled shelf assemblies comprising shelf bodies and shelf components are stacked vertically and arranged in a compact configuration fully within a perimeter of the pallet and without overhang. The shelf components are housed in cavities formed between adjacent shelf bodies. Accordingly, the unassembled shelf assemblies consolidate into high-density vertical stacks with minimal wasted space and without loose parts. This enables efficient transportation while reducing risks including loss of or damage to the shelf bodies and shelf components. The system provides efficient, cost-effective, and safe shipping, storage, and display of unassembled shelf assemblies by maximizing the number of unassembled shelf assemblies fit on the pallet.
Abstract:
A folding bulk container, such as may be used for the bulk transport of fruit produce and the like, includes a base unit having at least one peripheral edge wall which has all outer surface, an inner surface and an upper surface, and at least one side wall pivotably mounted on the base unit about an axis adjacent the edge wall for movement between an erect position and a folded position. The container is foldable and may be stackable with like containers. The side wall may cooperate with the edge wall in releasable engagement when in the erect position.
