    摘要: A freight container (10) has a base (20) or a portion thereof that can be opened to discharge its contents. This container (10) has a top which can be opened in similar manner as the base. Another container having at least one compartment, each compartment having a lower section with a reducing cross-sectional area and a pivotably operable closure assembly, with several such closure assemblies being linked together by means of bars. Such a container is used to contain raw building materials for stockpiling of these materials at a container port. It is also used to supply materials to a concrete production plant whee pollution control containers are provided below the supply container and above the scaling and mixing stations to reduce particulate pollution. A pair of slewing apparatuses is also provided to engage both ends of a container and turn the container over about its longitudinal axis, thereby emptying its contents.

    摘要: An arrangement havign a closing member for filling mouthpiece of a filling machine for filling material of a pasty up to a chunky or lumpy consistency, whereby during the filling packaging containers are stepwise moved underneath the filling mouthpiece. When the filling material is very tough and hardens rapidly, it is desirable that the heap-like remanent tip Z of the filling material, which remains after the filling operation,is disposed in the middle of each packaging container. This achieved by means of a closing member that includes two identical oppositely rotatably movable cylinders, each one of which is provided with a rectangular recess. These recesses extend to each one of the cylinders in such a way that a disc-shaped base portion and a shank remain, which shank has a circular segment-shaped cross-section. The cylinders are mounted in a bore which is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the filling mouthpiece and are mutually coaxially arranged and are positioned in such a way that the shank of one cylinder extends into the recess of the other cylinder. The cylinders move jointly and in synchronization with the packaging container therepast and are actuated for achieving an opening and closing motion. In the open position the inner sides of the shanks align with the filling channel of the filling mouthpiece. In the closed position the edges of the shanks precisely meet at the longtiduinal aixis of the filling mouthpiece and thereby pinch off the filling material.

    摘要: A sealing device for an opening in the wall of a container which is loaded with or emptied of fluid loose material, viscous deposits, sludges or the like and which after the loading or the emptying is sealed tightly and has a sealing element which is brought into sealing abutment to a sealing seat, secured to the wall, by means of its sealing surface. The sealing element has a sealing surface which is brought into linear sealing abutment with the sealing seat. Above this line of sealing abutment, a casing having a diameter smaller than that of the sealing abutment line is supported on the sealing surface of the sealing element during the first part of the opening operation and is free of engagement therewith in the following movement. A guide device is provided for the charge, by means of which it can be guided onto the area of the sealing element, which is enclosed by the casing, resting on the sealing surface of the sealing element to thereby protect the sealing seat from engagement with the material during the opening andclosing movement of the sealing element.

    摘要: The transfer mechanism finds particular use in transferring coal from the hoppers of a charging-car into coal-carburizing ovens. The mechanism has a chute mounted adjacent to the outlet of the hopper so as to be movable to a discharge position wherein the chute is aligned with the outlet of the hopper and the inlet of the oven; and to a storage position. The chute includes at least two telescoping sections which are movable between retracted and extended conditions. There is provided an actuating mechanism coupled to the chute and operable to move the chute to the discharge position thereof followed by placing the telescoping sections in their extended condition so as to engage in the inlet of the oven; the actuating mechanism is also operable to retract the telescoping sections and then move the chute to its storage position.
