摘要： A child-resistant container closure constructed according to the present invention comprises a disk shaped cover plate attached to body section formed as a substantially cylindrical wall. A movable handle or tab is attached to the cover plate to aid a user in pulling the closure from a container in which the closure is installed. A well or recess is provided in cover plate to house the handle in a closed position. A ridge on the end of the handle cooperates with a mating ridge in the wall of the recess to retain the handle in a closed position. A resilient spring is provided in the recess so that when the handle is released from the recess, it is urged into a position in which it may be conveniently gripped by a user. An undercut groove or notch is provided on the outside surface of the cylindrical wall adjacent the cover plate. The notch engages a mating lip or ridge extending inward from the inner surface of the mouth of the product container to secure the closure to the product container. The depth of the notch is gradually reduced along a predetermined angular portion thereof to reduce the amount of force required to remove the closure from the container.

摘要： A safety stopper for a receptacle includes a top portion and a sealing ring having an inner bead embraced around a rib at the receptacle opening. The stopper is press fitted into the receptacle. A weakened seam is provided between the top portion and the sealing ring. A slide may be provided in the top of the stopper and is moved outward to enable the stopper to be removed after the seam is broken. The stopper may also include a segment which blocks movement of the slide until the sealing ring is removed.

摘要： A child-resistant lift-off cap for a container is adapted to be difficult to unseat independently to open the container. An overlay portion associated with the cap is adapted for use to lift the cap from a container to unseat it. The overlay portion has a thumb tab and is deformable to engage and lift the seated cap only when the thumb tab is lifted. The overlay portion raises independently of the cap when the deformable portion is not deformed into engagement with the cap. Alternatively, a lift-top cap having a slot through it, the slot having a first opening near an edge of the cap to be lifted to unseat the cap and a second opening. A slide in the slot has a first end biased to be flush with or recessed into the first opening and a second end biased to normally protrude out of the second opening. The second end of the slide can be depressed against the bias of the slide to displace the first end of the slide out of the first opening to function as a thumb tab to assist in lifting the cap from a container.

摘要： A stopper which engages a neck of a container. The stopper includes a circular bottom section and a head section which rises above the container and encompasses a slide. The rim of the head section has a maximum diameter that does not exceed the external diameter of the opening of the container. The slide can be pushed against the force of a spring device in one direction and, when released, returns to its retracted initial position as a result of the spring force. Opposing sides of the slide each end in circumferential sections. A first one of the circumferential sections forming an outer surface for receiving a first applied force for advancing the slide and causing the second one of the circumferential sections to protrude from the stopper. The second one of the circumferential sections receiving a second different applied force to remove the stopper from the container.

摘要： A stopper, configured to engage with an annular shoulder of a container in a clamping fit, comprises a circular bottom section which closes the container opening, and two head sections which project beyond the container. In between the head sections a slide is arranged which in a retracted initial state assumes, together with the head sections, a substantially frusta conical shape tapering to the upper side. The frusta conical edge has a maximum diameter which is at the most, as large as the outer diameter of the container at the container opening. The slide is adapted to be pushed forwards under the action of a force of a predetermined magnitude in one direction beyond the rim of the container. The projected slide can be gripped by a user to lever off the stopper from the container.
