摘要： The invention relates to an improved method and apparatus for the treatment of animal skin substrates which employs a multiplicity of solid particles. There is disclosed an apparatus for treating one or more animal skin substrates with a multiplicity of solid particles and treatment liquor comprising: a rotatably mounted drum comprising an internal volume having a first portion defining a treatment volume for retaining said animal substrates and a second portion defining a collecting volume; one or more inlets for introducing solid particles and treatment liquor into said treatment volume; a partition separating said treatment volume from said collecting volume wherein said partition allows free passage of solid particles from the treatment volume to the collecting volume and prevents the passage of the substrates therethrough; a circulation path for conveying said solid particles from the collecting volume to the treatment volume; and a pumping device arranged to pump solid particles and said treatment liquor along a portion of said circulation path.

摘要： The invention relates to the technical field of animal fur processing, and particularly relates to a cutting and double-face leather integrated dyeing process for Tan sheep skin, which comprises the following steps: cutting→washing with water→retanning→primary dyeing→primary colour fixing→secondary dyeing→fatliquoring→secondary colour fixing→bleaching→drying→a finished product. In the process of the invention, the third-grade Tan sheep skin which does not reach a superior quality is selected and subjected to cutting treatment and then double-face leather integrated dyeing; after the dyeing has been completed, the leather board has softness, good fullness and elongation, substantially uniform thickness, and no phenomena such as stiff board and swelling board occur; the fleece is smooth, flexible and loose and clean with complete needle velvet, and no phenomena such as serious fur shedding, oily fur and fur twisting occur. Tan sheep skin leather boards and fleeces dyed by the process of the invention have no cross colour and colour fading with each other, a high colour fastness, and uniform dyeing; the prepared Tan sheep skin products such as clothing, etc., not only have the characteristics of a high added value and good practicability, but also can more largely increase product benefits and lower the production cost.

摘要： An apparatus and method for a water removing roller device for removing excess water from the hide of a cattle, which uses pliable urethane roller stacks that can be attached by an arm structure. The roller structure can be mounted on a hinge to an arm thereby allowing the structure to swivel. The arm can be attached to a stationery device with a hinge, which is also allowed to swivel. A tension device, for example, a spring or a hydraulic cylinder can be attached to the back of the arm and connected to the stationery device to provide enough tension on the structure to keep the rollers in contact with the cattle hide, thereby pressing out the water allowing it to run off prior the blood plasma saving section.

摘要： Between a chrome tanning step and a fat liquor treatment step, a flesh side split leather is subjected to shaving on both its split and flesh sides to a thickness of 1.1 to 2.5 mm, preferably 1.2 to 1.5 mm and is then aftertanned. After a split side dressing of the dried butt, a further shaving operation is effected on the flesh side to a thickness of 0.5 to 1.0 mm, preferably 0.7 to 0.9 mm, whereupon the flesh side is also dressed. The result is a split leather which is particularly effective for use on automotive vehicle dashboards and has low shrinkage even when subjected to high temperature and moisture fluctuations.

摘要： A drum apparatus for maintaining a liquid bath in which sheet material of a porous and absorbent nature is processed includes a processing chamber adjacent an open end and a drainage chamber adjacent its other end which is closed. The drum is mounted for rotational movement about its longitudinal axis and for pivotal movement in a vertical plane. The drum is pivoted to a loading position and the sheet material is fed through the open end into the processing chamber. Fins in the processing chamber are adapted to work the sheet material in a liquid bath supplied to the drum during rotation of the drum in either direction. After the sheet material is processed the drum is pivoted to a discharge position for removal of the sheet material out through the open end.
