摘要： A bobbin holder that grasps a holder body and a flange of a bobbin that winds a thread n around the holder body, the holder including: an opening formed in an upper surface of the holder body; a thread holding portion that holds a thread n and is arranged in the opening so as to protrude from a center of the holder body toward an outer circumference of the holder body; and a cutting blade that cuts the thread held by the thread holding portion, the blade being disposed in one of regions inside the opening that is partitioned by the thread holding portion, wherein the cutting blade is disposed on a thread path of the thread n being pulled after the thread n, which is wound around the bobbin grasped by a grasping portion and is pulled from the other region inside the partitioned opening, is held by the thread holding portion.

摘要： A bobbin case assembly having a wall structure mountable operably upon a support and defining a first receptacle for a supply of thread, and a tensioning assembly. The tensioning assembly has a first surface that bears against the thread. At least one of the wall structure and tensioning assembly has a second surface. The thread resides between the first and second surfaces through which the frictional force on the thread is generated. A body is bendable to so that one of the first and second surfaces is movable selectively towards and away from the other. A flexing portion on the body is bendable relative to mounting portion and has first and second flexing regions. The second flexing region is more flexible relative to the first flexing region than the first flexing region is flexible relative to the mounting portion. The first surface is on the second flexing region.

摘要： Gripper hook (1) for a lockstitch sewing machine, wherein the sewing machine comprises a vertically mounted needle (5) for an upper thread, a stitch plate and below the stitch plate a housing which houses the gripper hook (1), substantially formed into an open cylinder and rotatably mounted on a horizontal axis, a bobbin basket (4) which is concentrically supported inside the gripper hook (1) and is designed as an open cylinder for receiving a bobbin case, the bobbin case housing a bobbin for an under thread and the needle (5) in executing a stitch being brought down perpendicularly to the axis of the rotary gripper hook in front of the open part of the gripper hook (1) through an opening (11) in the wall of the bobbin basket (4) so that a gripper hook tip catches the upper thread and leads the upper thread around the bobbin basket (4), thereby forming a stitch by interaction with the under thread when the needle is brought back up, and wherein the gripper hook (1) has a cylindrical side wall (3), which is at least wide enough for the side wall (3) to protect the bobbin basket (4) from being struck by the needle (5) in a situation in which the needle (5) is brought downwards when a force is pressing the tip of the needle out of an alignment in which it normally runs.

摘要： A non-spill bobbin case device having a bobbin thread tension spring and a direct bobbin thread path extending from the bobbin thread tension spring across the bobbin case device spaced from the outer face of a bobbin flange supported in the bobbin case, and having a leaf spring with a first end attached thereto, the second end of which impinges upon the outer face of the bobbin flange. An indirect thread path is established by reeving the bobbin thread through a hook provided on the end of the leaf spring in engagement with the bobbin flange so that upon thread demand, the leaf spring is removed from the bobbin flange to permit free rotation thereof; but when thread demand ceases, the end of the leaf spring comes immediately into contact with the bobbin flange to deter further rotation thereof. An adjustment screw is provided which provides for variability of pressure contact of the second end with the bobbin flange for no interference with bobbin rotation upon thread demand or for only a small degree of interference therewith.
