摘要: A fitted sheet (800) includes a first side margin (106) and the second side margin (107) folded about a first fold line (104) and a second fold line (105), respectively, toward a central panel (108) such that sides of the first side margin and the second side margin are separated by a separation (208). A first edge (209) and a second edge (211) occur where the first side margin and the central panel abut, while a third edge (210) and a fourth edge (212) occur where the second side margin and the central panel abut. The first edge includes a first seam (405), while the second edge includes a second seam (406). The third edge includes a third seam (407), while the fourth edge includes a fourth seam (408). Each seam is applied by a different sewing operation. At least two seams are different in color.

摘要: A handicraft clip is provided for forming a pleat in a cloth. The clip includes a relatively wide base plate and a narrower fastening plate connected to the base plate via a connecting hinge portion having a reduced thickness for allowing pivotal movement of the fastening plate relative to the base plate. The base plate is formed with a generally elliptical through-hole, while the fastening plate is provided with a locking protrusion to be fitted into the through-hole of the base plate when the base plate and the fastening plate are superposed on each other. The fastening plate includes a cloth holding portion of a generally constant width. The cloth holding portion is formed with a slit for insertion of a cloth. The slit extends from the distal end of the cloth holding portion toward the locking protrusion.

摘要: An apparatus for stitching a fabric and/or attaching guide rings to the fabric for possible use in a covering for an architectural opening includes a lift bar to which a top edge of the fabric is connected so the fabric can hang into an underlying housing where a plurality of individually operated clamps are positioned. The clamps can manipulate the fabric as the lift bar is raised or lowered while horizontal tucks are formed in the fabric with a reciprocating tucker blade. A pair of traversing sewing machines are used to stitch a tuck and/or attach guide rings to the tuck in an automated operation.

摘要: The present invention provides a continuous process for the manufacture of a garment. A web of fabric including opposing web side edges wherein the opposing web side edges are proximate a pair of opposing garment bottom edges of the garment is provided. The web of fabric is intermittently cut, thereby forming edges defining neck openings in the web fabric. The web of fabric is cut, thereby defining discrete garment-sized pieces. Each of the discrete garment-sized pieces of the web of fabric includes at least one neck opening, a front panel having a pair of opposing garment side edges, a back panel having a pair of opposing garment side edges, two opposing garment end portions, and the pair of opposing bottom end edges. The discrete garment-sized piece of the web of fabric is folded, whereby one of the garment bottom edges of the pair of opposing garment bottom edges is brought into contact with the other garment bottom edge. At least a portion of the pair of opposing garment side edges of the front panel is fastened to at least a portion of the pair of opposing garment side edges of the back panel to form a pair of garment side seams.

摘要: A production system for automatically performing a sequence of work operations upon a plurality of fabric workpieces. Each successive workpiece is registered in an initial known position and then is transferred while controlling its position to a first work station to have a predetermined work operation performed at the first work station. The workpiece is successively transferred from the first work station to a second work station while being simultaneously rotated into a different angular orientation relative to the initial registered position and being controlled so as to position the workpiece in a predetermined relationship relative to the second work station, A further operation is performed on each workpiece at the second station and the treated workpieces are delivered in succession from the second work station. An incremental work performing system is described for fabric work pieces which performs increments of an operation; such as creasing at a sequence of work stations for completing the operation automatically while accommodating size changes in the workpiece without corresponding changes in the tooling size. The workpieces may be automatically registered at each workstation and they are moved and controlled in position during movement by a suction lifting clamp and by the differential in friction between the low friction supporting surface engaging the lower face of the workpiece and a high friction movable clamp engaging its upper face, the clamps being controlled in position and angular orientation.

摘要: A decorative engineered self-hem and a method to prepare the decorative engineered self-hem in a single fabric is disclosed herein. It is prepared without having any additional cut and sew, with various weave patterns designed in a design area 10-20 inches from a selvedge area and the rest of the fabric is woven in conventional weave pattern such as satin/twill. The method of preparation includes cutting the fabric parallel to a selvedge area; folding the fabric overlapping the selvedge area; and folding the full fabric horizontally and, at the same time, hemming of edge of the selvedge area to finish.

摘要: A handicraft assisting tool for folding a fabric into a configuration having rotational symmetry is provided. The handicraft assisting tool includes a flexible sheet body adhered to the fabric and a folding facilitator formed at the sheet body. The folding facilitator facilitates an operation of folding an overlapped product, which is obtained by adhering the fabric to the sheet body, along a predetermined folding line. The folding facilitator includes, for example, a plurality of slits disposed along the predetermined folding line.
