摘要： The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence washing machine and an operation method thereof. A method of operating a washing machine may comprise estimating, based on a previous setting of a previous washing operation, an estimated setting for a current washing operation, wherein the estimated setting includes a water supply time, a drainage time, and a spin-drying time, obtaining a user input, obtaining an amount of laundry from a weight sensor of the washing machine, determining, based on the estimated setting, the user input, and the amount of laundry, a washing time for the current washing operation and displaying the determined washing time to the user. Accordingly, the estimated washing time is provided with the reflection of data of the washing machine which has been accumulated by the increase of the number of uses, thereby reducing a difference between an actual operating time and the estimated washing time and minimizing the user inconvenience.

In prediction step, based on the acquired parameters, a drying time required for the drying operation is predicted by a first prediction method. In determination step, when the restart of the drying operation is detected while the drying operation is stopped, whether the first prediction method performed in prediction step is applicable is determined. In processing step, when the first prediction method is determined to be applicable, the first prediction method is continued and when the first prediction method is determined not to be applicable, predetermined processing is performed.

The control method includes: when a washing and drying all-in-one machine enters a washing-drying linkage mode, measuring a remaining time of a washing program, and determining whether the remaining time is within a preset first time threshold value; and if so, a clothes dryer matching a drying program corresponding to the clothes and performing preheating, and after waiting for the washing program to end, the washed clothes being placed in the clothes dryer for drying. By the washing and drying all-in-one machine and the control method therefor, according to the remaining time of the washing program, the clothes dryer is started in advance to execute a drying program and is preheated, such that the entire washing-drying time consumption of the clothes is shortened, thereby improving the user experience, and meeting the increasing intelligent requirements of users.

摘要： A combination laundry appliance includes a cabinet, a drum disposed within the cabinet, a fluid directing system for directing wash fluid into the drum during a wash cycle and directing air into the drum during a dry cycle, and a heat pump assembly operably coupled to the fluid directing system. The heat pump assembly includes a first condenser, a second condenser, and a three-way valve. The three-way valve is configured to direct refrigerant to the first condenser during the wash cycle to heat the wash fluid and to the second condenser during the dry cycle to heat the air. A controller is communicatively coupled to the heat pump assembly. The controller is configured to control the three-way valve to direct the refrigerant based on a laundry cycle.
