Abstract:
Methods and systems for processing coverings such as leather hides and fabrics are provided. A system can include a worktable having a surface on which a covering is placeable. An imaging device can be positionable relative to the worktable. The imaging device can be configured to obtain an image of the covering on the surface of the worktable. A projector can be positionable relative to worktable. The projector can be configured to project an image onto the surface of the worktable and the covering on the surface of the worktable. A controller can be in communication with the imaging device and projector. The controller can be configured to correct images taken by the imaging device. The controller can also be configured to correct the images projected onto the surface of the worktable and the covering thereon. The controller can be configured to permit the showing of virtual markings on the covering placed on the surface of the worktable through an image projected thereon by the projector. The covering can then be marked or cut along the virtual markings.
Abstract:
Manual speed adjusted cloth inspection machines are converted to fixed cloth speed machines by replacing the transmission and variable ratio pulley and belt drive system with a cloth speed responsive tachometer controlling the speed of a motor to drive the reel mount at a constant speed through a fixed ratio pulley and belt drive system. Conveniently located start, stop and reversing switches are provided as well as end of roll speed control.
Abstract:
A web of material is drawn by the machine from a removable supply roll over a first self-centering pulley, across a flat reviewing surface, over a second set of self-centering pulleys arranged in a figure S fashion, and is wound on a removable takeup shaft. Cutting means are provided for severing the portion of the web wound on the takeup shaft from the remainder of the web, and motor driven means are provided for selectively driving either the takeup shaft forwardly or the supply roll rearwardly in order to collate different web segments on one or more takeup shafts.
Abstract:
An arrangement for examining a textile material section is provided, more particularly of toweling goods, by visual inspection by an examiner. In this respect, the examining arrangement has a laying area arranged in the field of vision of the examiner, in which the material section can be positioned so that it is laid flat for examination of the first side of the material section. In addition, the examining arrangement includes a turning device (2, 3), by which the material section (4), starting from the position for examining the first side (8) of the material section (4), can be reversed in such a manner that the material section (4) can be positioned so that it is laid flat in the laying area (6) for examination of the second side (10) of the material section (4).
