A nondestructive transferring unit includes a plurality of first transferring rolls and a plurality of second transferring rolls. The first transferring rolls make contact with a first surface of the substrates-conveying sheet where that surface can have electrostatically-induced charge formed thereon. Each of the first transferring rolls includes a first central portion charged with a positive electric charge and a first outer portion surrounding the first central portion. The second transferring rolls make contact with the first surface of the substrates-conveying sheet. The second transferring rolls are disposed alternately with the first transferring rolls. Each of the second transferring rolls includes a second central portion charged with a negative electric charge and a second outer portion surrounding the second central portion.

    摘要: Apparatus for dispensing paper from rolls which feeds continuously, roll to roll, and does not require extra procedure to bring stub roll into position. The apparatus holds and positions at least first and second rolls of paper with respect to each other, dispensing paper from the first and second rolls simultaneously when the first roll reduces to a predetermined diameter of paper, positioning the depleted first roll for replacement without the necessity of removing the second roll; and dispensing from the second and replacement rolls simultaneously when the second roll reduces to a predetermined diameter of paper. The apparatus also has a proximity sensor, which senses when a hand is placed near the dispenser, and thereupon dispenses a set amount of towel. The dispenser dissipates static charges to a local ground such as a high impedance wall surface on which the dispenser is mounted.

    摘要: A cassette for recording an image on a film which has an electrically conductive layer which is wound on a reel rotatably supported within a cassette casing includes a contact piece for grounding which is mounted on a reel body. A clamp is engaged with the reel body so as to press the film against the contact piece. The contact piece slide-contacts a reel retainer secured to the cassette casing, thereby allowing the film to be electrically connected to the reel retainer through the contact piece. The reel container is connected to a contact member which projects to the outside of the cassette casing, and this contact member is connected to a contact provided on an apparatus into which the cassette is loaded, thereby effecting grounding.

The film includes a conductive layer covered by a photoconductive layer and the grounding clip is provided with barbs having sharp edges to scrape through the photoconductive layer during assembly of the clip to the reel and electrically contact the conductive layer. Assembly of the reel to a drive shaft provides an electrical connection through the grounding clip between the conductive layer of the photoconductive film and the drive shaft to ground the conductive layer of the film.
