    摘要: A rectangular channel is cut into a contoured concrete curb along a street to expose an end of ground drain pipe. Sealing fill material is applied to portions of cut surfaces of the rectangular channel. A curb drain modular insert that is placed into the rectangular channel has a molded body that is formed to have a rear surface, bottom surface and lateral surfaces that are generally planar. The lateral surfaces are generally parallel to each other. Each lateral surface, rear surface and bottom surface being generally perpendicular to each other for being placed into the rectangular channel cut into the contoured curb. The molded body has a contoured top surface that conforms to portions of the contoured curb that are adjacent to the rectangular channel. A horizontal bore is formed in the molded body from the rear surface through the top surface to conduct ground water.

    摘要: This invention provides a modular ducting section and a networked utilities ducting system and rain and road water management system formed from two or more modular ducting sections laying end-to-end. Each modular ducting section comprises open-topped utility channels for carrying utility service supply lines such as electricity, gas, water, or communications, an open-topped catchment channel for carrying rain water captured from a building structure or garden, and a supply channel for supplying an end user with utility services via a supply line, while also allowing the end user to feed an end-user generated utility supply back into the corresponding utility service supply line via a return line. Each modular ducting section further comprises a road water runoff flange and a main channel cover, which when combined, form a curb-side structure that functions to keep any contaminated road water from the reusable rain water collected in the catchment channel.

    摘要: The invention integrates the functionality of: kerbs, gutters, pathways, into a surface accessible networked utility ducting system and a a rain and run-off water management system.It is comprised of a base section formed a combination of one or more open topped utility access channels, an open topped water catchment channel, a slopped flange and one or more open sided access and or open topped feeder line distribution channels.The invention includes features for the isolation of electric power channels from contact with other utilities such as gas, water, or communications.The invention includes features for, integration with existing stormwater systems such as overflow points.The invention provides utilities access pathway all the way to an end users premises with minimal need for digging or disturbance of footpaths or paved surfaces this is a major improvement upon the prior art which tranforms the economics of surface accessible utility ducting systems.The invention includes covers, which are interchangeable, may take various forms, such as a pavement and kerb, a driveway ramp or a wheel chair access ramp. This allows the invention to be economically adapted to changes in kerb requirements as changes to the pathways and kerbs occur along their length and as requirements change over time, this solves the problems associated with the prior art which can not be readily adapted to all the variations found in kerbs and gutters along the length of the kerb and pavement or as they occur over time.The invention enables rain and run-off water to be isolated from contamination and managed to preserve its value and usefulness.The invention lowers the cost of, and, increases the speed, of new service deployment thereby overcoming the major economic barriers to market entry of new distributed utility services.The invention is to be manufactured in most cases as precast modules. The channels, lids, access boxes are linked by flexible interstitial joints which enable the system so formed to change direction to conform with the contours of the landscape in which it is located. In most cases the material of construction will be a dense, reinforced material such as concrete. When so constructed the invention will resist the effects of earthquakes, cyclones, flooding, tornados, and tsunamis.

    摘要: A device for restricting flow through a curb inlet opening defined in a street storm drain by secure positioning a face plate extending thereover. Multiple flow slots are defined extending through the face plate to allow limited flow therethrough. The face plate is securable to the drain by mounting apparatus which includes one or more mounting brackets along with an engagement device attachable to the flow limiting slots and the brackets to hold the face plate in position extending over the curb inlet opening. Mounting brackets can have teeth for engaging storm drain for enhanced securement therewith. The flow restricting slots are preferably radially arranged with respect to one another and can include lateral slots further engageable with the mounting bracket to prevent rotation thereof during tightening thereof. Conical washers can extend over the head of mounting bolts for protection thereof.

The solar cell unit includes a lower fixing case embedded in the body of the boundary stone and an upper fixing case separably assembled to the lower fixing case. The light emitting road boundary stone has advertisement and propaganda functions, in addition to its essential delimitation function, via displaying images at any time of day or night.
