摘要： An ice elimination device for removing ice from a surface, which may be pulled or driven over a surface. The ice elimination device includes an ice elimination section that includes an applicator capable of distributing a flow of steam, hot water or both, a squeegee element capable to scrape liquid off of a surface, and one or more vacuum elements positioned to suction off liquid scraped by said squeegee. The ice elimination may include a surface drying section that includes a heater to apply heat to a portion of the surface and then utilizes a plurality of fans to generate an air flow that engages the heated portion of said surface. The combination of the heat and the fan evaporates all or most of any moisture on the surface after the squeegee and vacuum have collected and removed the melted ice, condensed steam, and/or applied hot water.

The system includes a blade for gathering the snow from the driving surface. The snow is directed into an opening that extends through the blade and into a duct. The snow moves through the duct and into a melting unit. The snow is melted in the melting unit into water and/or steam during the removal process. The melted snow may then be discharged from the system.

摘要： A snow conversion system for removal of snow from an access surface includes a mixing tank and a conveyor apparatus fluidly connected to the mixing tank for transferring the snow from the access surface into the mixing tank. The system also includes a fluid delivery arrangement for injecting a chemical agent into the mixing tank to combine the chemical agent with the transferred snow and thereby generate a solution of the melted snow and the chemical agent. The system additionally includes a mixer for agitating and mixing the snow and the injected chemical agent in the mixing tank to thereby further facilitate melting of the snow in the mixing tank. The system further includes a fluid nozzle in fluid communication with the mixing tank for dispensing the solution of the melted snow and the chemical agent onto the access surface to thereby provide de-icing and/or anti-icing of the access surface.
