摘要: Methods and systems for operating an industrial machine. One system includes a controller that includes an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to calculate an eccentricity of a center of gravity of the industrial machine with respect to a center of a bearing propelling the industrial machine and calculate a ground pressure associated with the bearing based on the eccentricity of the center of gravity. The electronic processor is also configured to set a maximum torque applied by an actuator included in the industrial machine to a value less than an available maximum torque based on the eccentricity of the center of gravity and the ground pressure.

摘要: Methods and systems for detecting heavy machine wear. One system includes a heavy machine tooth of an industrial machine having a working end and a mounting end opposite the working end. The system also includes a wear indicator included in the tooth. The wear indicator includes a conductive tip, a conductive outer body extending along at least a length of the tooth, a conductive inner core positioned within the outer body, and insulating material positioned between the outer body and the inner core. The conductive tip is positioned between the working end of the tooth and the outer body and electrically couples the outer body and the inner core to form an electric circuit. The system also includes a transmitter included in the tooth. The transmitter transmits a state of the electric circuit.

摘要: A mining machine such as a mining shovel includes a digging assembly having an upward extending boom and a dipper assembly with a dipper that is generally horizontally supported by the boom. A hoist system including hoist ropes attached to the dipper may be used to vertically pivot the dipper assembly with respect to the boom. To determine if the hoist ropes are properly supporting the weight of the dipper assembly, an electronic controller can calculate a calculated hoist force based on a hoist speed associated with the hoist ropes and a hoist motor torque from a hoist motor. If the calculated hoist force indicates that slack exists in the hoist ropes, the electronic controller can execute a slack reduction function to increase tension in the hoist ropes attached to the dipper.

摘要: A work vehicle has a boom assembly for a work implement that provides an improved sightline between the cabin and work implement. The boom assembly can be a dual function boom having a wishbone configuration with an elongated body supporting the work implement and at the other end having branch sections extending outwardly at acute angles with open space therebetween. A boom support arch can provide an elevated boom mount on which the boom can pivot about a boom pivot axis at pivots located on the branches of the boom. The boom support arch can have its own pivotal mounting connection to the work vehicle. Actuators, such as hydraulic cylinders, can be coupled to the boom and support arch to independently pivot the boom and the support arch with respect to each other and the work vehicle.

摘要: The present invention provides a tractor with a rotatable articulated arm in which a rotating shaft is installed around a driver cab of the tractor, and the articulated arm is coupled to the rotating shaft so that the articulated arm can rotate around the rotating shaft within as large an angular range as possible, whereby an operating radius and working efficiency of an operating implement mounted to an end of the articulated arm can be markedly improved. In the present invention, the driver cab which is provided with a driver seat is disposed on a body frame at a position displaced to one side from a central portion of the body frame. The rotating shaft is installed around the driver cab. The articulated arm is installed on the rotating shaft so that the articulated arm can rotate around the rotating shaft.
