    摘要: A wheel spacer is provided for spacing a reinforcing rod for a cementitious structure away from an object during fabrication of the structure. The spacer consists of two substantially semicircular sections configured for connection together with the rod abuttingly retained in saddles generally situated at the centre of the sections when connected together in an assembled configuration for the spacer. Each section has, on an inner wall thereof in which the saddles are situated, primary inserting arms for insertion into apertures for locking engagement with teeth on the inserting arms with teeth on receiving arms of the other section. Retaining arms having guide walls further facilitate retention of the rod and guiding thereof towards the saddles while the spacer is placed in the assembled configuration.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for maintaining structural elements at a distance from one another for the purpose of reinforcing concrete, said device taking the form of a disk which is formed from a single piece, preferably by means of injection moulding, using a plastic resin such as high-density polyethylene. According to the invention, the structural element is positioned along the central axis of the device and the element is inserted through a reinforced radial hole which extends from the centre of the device to one of the ends thereof, said two parts being fixed with corresponding fixing elements following the insertion of the structural element. The inventive device enables greater concrete continuity, with a larger available space for the concrete, thereby reducing the interface coefficient. The design of the central ring confers increased strength and stability in order to maintain the structural reinforcement inside same and, consequently, ensure a good performance, by reducing the mechanical advantage of the perimeter against the central axis. In addition, savings are made in terms of resources since the installation and reinforcement time is reduced

    摘要: A spacer wheel for use in construction using reinforcement rods cast into a compound such as concrete. The spacer wheel is configured to space a reinforcement rod from adjacent surfaces as the as the concrete is cast into a mold. The spacer wheel is of a three part design and has a base section and left and right pivotable sections. The spacer wheel uses an integrally molded hinge to join each pivotable section to the base section. The design also uses a dual rack and paw mechanism to clamp the spacer wheel onto the reinforcement rod.

    摘要: A system for use with a post-tensioning concrete anchor may comprise a connector anchor including a bore therethrough, the bore including a first frustoconical portion, the connector anchor adapted to bear on the post-tensioning concrete anchor, and a coupler. The coupler may comprise a coupler body including a bore therethrough, the bore including a second frustoconical portion that is oriented oppositely to the first frustoconical portion, and a connector having a bore therethrough and configured to receive the coupler body therein, the connector adapted to mechanically engage the connector anchor such that a tensioning force can be transmitted from the coupler body to the connector anchor via the connector. A method of using the system may allow a second concrete section to be poured adjacent to a first concrete section before the first concrete section has been stressed.
