摘要： A system for securing plank panels together includes at least one connector clip to secure a pair of plank panels with one another. The at least one connector clip receives the retaining mechanism of each plank panel. The at least connector clip has a body with first and second retaining pockets. The retaining pockets couple with the retention mechanisms. A locator hump is coupled with the body. The locator hump positions the connector clip in place with respect to at least one of the pair of plank panels to secure the connector clip as well as the plank panels with a framing structure.

摘要： A wall panel system includes a mounting bracket with a longitudinally extending first channel and a longitudinally extending second channel, and a wall panel with a perpendicular flange around its periphery. The wall panel is attached to the mounting bracket by a clip attached to the wall panel adjacent the flange, the clip having an engaging element with a first portion and a second portion. The clip is secured to the mounting bracket by either the first portion of the engaging element mating with the second channel, or the second portion mating with the first channel. The first portion of the engaging element and the second channel each include a protrusion, the interaction of the protrusions causing the first portion to snap into the second channel.

摘要： A clip for installing panels of siding to an underlying structure is disclosed. The clip has an upper tab portion that extends downwardly to a forked neck. The upper tab portion is adapted to receive a fastener. A front portion and a rear portion extend downwardly from the forked neck. The clearance between the front portion and the rear portion is sized to receive a nail hem of the panel of siding. The rear portion includes a forwardly protruding lip, and the forward portion includes a rearwardly turned curved hook. Both the forwardly protruding lip and the rearwardly turned curved hook engage an uppermost fold in the panel of siding just below the nail hem. This configuration allows the clip of the present invention to simply and quickly snap over the top edge of the panel at any desired location along the length of the panel, and eliminates the need to install individual clips one at a time from one end or the other of the panel.

摘要： There is disclosed a panel clip for siding. The clip is especially useful for installing a top siding row on a next to top siding row. The clip has a first face and a second face. The clip is formed from a continuous metal strip. The clip has a generally J-shaped portion and a generally inverted V-shaped portion. The generally J-shaped portion has a first end corresponding to an upper end of the J and a second end corresponding to a tail end of the J. The generally inverted V-shaped portion has an apex, a first end, a first leg extending between the apex and the first end, a second end, and a second leg extending between the apex and the second end. Each leg has a first face and a second face corresponding to the first face and the second face of the continuous metal strip. The first end of the generally inverted V-shaped portion is connected to the second end of the generally J-shaped portion to form a generally S-shaped bend with the second leg of the generally inverted V-shaped portion. The second leg of the inverted generally V-shaped portion forms a hood portion which covers the second end of the generally J-shaped portion. When the clip further has at least one outwardly facing barb extending from the second face of the second upright leg in order to be self fastening, the at least one barb is covered by the hood portion to reduce the risk of injury to the siding installers. In other embodiments of the invention, the clips can be nailed to the wall portion being covered. The holding power of the clips can be enhanced by providing the clips with a point on the hood portion and engaging the point on each hood portion with a portion of the next-to-top row panel.
