摘要： A child's safety guard for baluster-type banisters designed to prevent any portion of a child's body from falling through or being jammed between adjacent balusters and railings, without degrading the aesthetic appearance of the banisters. The guard comprises a set of thin, substantially stiff panels of sheet material having a parallelogram configuration capable of being adjustably overlapped along adjacent edges to cover substantially the entire space facing the landing between the railings. The panels are secured in their overlapped position by a lacing threaded through a series of drilled openings along the top and bottom edges of the panels and around the balusters. The panels are preferably fabricated of a clear, plastic material, but can be made in any desired color.

摘要： A child safety device for balustrades designed to minimize or restrict child access to the open space between balusters, while preserving the spatial configuration and aesthetic appeal of the balustrade. The device comprises of an obstructing member secured by means of connection to one or more adjacent balusters, thereby blocking a portion of the gap substantially enough to minimize child access. The device leaves substantial space between the balusters open in order to not alter the visual perception of the balustrade and its surroundings. The obstructing members are preferably composed of the same material as the adjacent balusters and designed aesthetically so as to appear as part of the balustrade.

摘要： A friction clutch, in particular multidisk friction clutch, includes a wear compensation device arranged in the pressure force path of a diaphragm spring which forms the principal clutch spring. The wear compensation device is arranged between the diaphragm spring and a pressure plate which is rotatably fixed and axially movably arranged in a clutch housing. The wear compensation device has at least one pair of compensation elements that are axially expandable under the urgency of a spring element. The diaphragm spring is arranged so that it is liftable off of the compensation elements. The pressure plate is prestressed in the release direction by a ventilating spring system having a prestrssing force that is greater than the axial spreading force of the wear compensation device. A ventilating distance-limiting device is active between the pressure plate and the clutch housing and automatically readjusts to a predetermined fixed ventilating distance clearance when wear occurs in the clutch. A compensation distance-limiting stop fixed to the clutch housing limits the spreading movement of the wear compensation device when the ventilating distance clearance of the ventilating distance-limiting device has been used up. The compensation limiting stop is mounted on the compensation element of the wear compensation device which bears against the diaphragm spring.

A border fabricated of reinforced nylon, canvas or like material is joined to each end of the barrier, having a plurality of openings to allow a means for tightly securing the barrier to an end wall, post or any combination thereof. The barrier is adaptable to lesser dimensions in terms of length and height.
