    摘要: A method, forming panel and system provide for monolithic pouring of concrete columns, beams and elevated decks. The forming panel may be variously sized and dimensioned to serve as a beam forming member or a column forming member, and includes a frame having at least one reinforcing member having a plurality of penetration indicators which are not in registry, at least initially, with any opening in a face plate of the form. The penetration indicators serve as markers and preferably guide templates for drilling openings at preselected locations in the face plate at corresponding to the indicators. The openings so drilled are part of coupler-receiving passages, whereby forms may be variously configured in different dimensions or arrangements. The forms may be configured to provide column form assemblies, beam form assemblies, or receive floor forms in a variety of configurations, and may be readily reconfigured and reused by plugging openings which are in currently undesired locations.

    摘要: A penetratable stiffback useful as a building form is provided and is useful as an integrated member of a forming system in conjunction with a pair of forming panels. The stiffback includes a face panel and a pair of rearwardly projecting support walls, each support wall including a lug projecting outwardly therefrom intermediate the rear margin and the rear of the face panel. The face panel includes a front face for location coplanar with a pair of adjacent forming panels to present a forming system for receiving hardenable material thereagainst, the lugs serving to reinforce the panels on either side. The system includes a connecting member for penetrating the face panel and connection to an opposing forming wall to inhibit separation of the forming walls caused by the weight of the hardenable material poured between the forming walls.

    摘要: This invention pertains to a novel component for constructing concrete forms. More particularly, this invention pertains to a concrete form system component comprising interlocking novel channel form beams and T-bolt connections. A T-bolt channel form beam including: (a) an elongated hollow channel member; (b) an elongated T-bolt received first cavity formed in a top region of the channel member, said elongated cavity having therein an elongated opening which is parallel with the elongated channel member and exposes the interior of the first elongated cavity to the exterior; (c) an elongated second cavity formed in the interior of the elongated channel member, adjacent to and parallel with the elongated first cavity; (d) an elongated third cavity, adjacent to and parallel with the second cavity and first cavity, and separated in part from the second cavity by an elongated membrane; and (e) an elongated T-bolt receiving fourth cavity, reversed in orientation with the first cavity, and adjacent to and parallel with the third cavity, the fourth cavity having therein an elongated opening which is parallel with the elongated channel member and exposes the interior of the first elongated cavity to the exterior.

    摘要: A panel connecting member for use with tie rods and panels for a concrete forming structure, which panels each have bolt holding structures along the edges thereof. This member is tubular and has two connecting flanges extending outwardly from one side. Slots to receive bolts are cut in the edges of these flanges. First and second aligned holes are provided in opposite sides of the tubular member for passage of a tie rod. Channel-forming, longitudinally extending projections are provided on the side of the tubular member opposite said one side. These projections are adapted to receive between them flanges provided on the edges of the panels. The preferred panel has a corrugated, aluminum core member substantially covering an interior space of the panel defined by two siderails and two end rails. Inner and outer structural sheets extend between these two sets of rails and are both connected to said core member.

    摘要: A joist structure having a configuration useful for constructing concrete-forming structures. The joist is comprised of an upwardly opening channel and an oppositely facing downwardly opening keyhole-shaped channel. The joist is an extruded elongate member having the respective channel end walls abutting each other. The upwardly facing channel has a generally rectangular form with the side walls being considerably wider than the end walls to accommodate standard wooden beam sizes, such as a 2 .times. 4. The downwardly facing channel, somewhat narrower and shorter than the upwardly facing channel, has a keyhole shape which considerably increases the compressive and torsion strength of the overall joist. The keyhole shape also accommodates keyhole-shaped inserts for strengthening the joist at high stress points, such as bearing surfaces and the mid-point between spans. The keyhole-shaped inserts can be provided in varying lengths according to the need and can incorporate mounting holes for the joist.

    摘要: A modular concrete wall form panel unit comprises a facing panel and a supporting frame of metal structural members having edge faces normal to the panel and flush with its edges. Adjoining panels are quickly fastened together and taken apart by captive T-head fasteners which extend through elongated slots in the edge faces and seat against spring pressure in cammed fittings when the T-head fasteners are rotated. Each fastener is provided with a second compression spring which retracts it within the frame when it is disengaged. Each unit is provided with slots extending across the edge faces of the frame and into the panel face as semicircles so that when adjoining panels are fastened together holes for tie rods are thereby formed.

    摘要: A wall form arrangement of the type used in forming composition walls, such as concrete walls, which includes a pair of vertically stacked wall forms. Each wall form has horizontally extending angle iron walers on its outer side. The stacked wall forms are reinforced by a vertically extending channel positioned against the outer side of the forms and having downwardly facing hooks thereon engaging the angle iron walers and drawing the channel against the walers. A hook at the lower end of the channel is adapted to be drawn upwardly to interengage the bottom waler on the lower wall form to secure the two wall forms in rigidly clamped vertically aligned relation.
