摘要： The present invention provides a above ground pool, comprising a flexible pool body. The flexible pool body comprises: a polygonal bottom sheet that comprises a plurality of edge portions; and a plurality of side sheets, each side sheet comprising a pool sidewall portion and a pool bottom portion, and each of the pool sidewall portions and each of the pool bottom portions being in the shape of an isosceles trapezoid. Each of pool sidewall portion comprises a first upper-base portion, a first lower-base portion and a first middle portion defined between the first upper-base portion and the first lower-base portion, and each of the pool bottom portion comprises a second upper-base portion, a second lower-base portion and a second middle portion defined between the second upper-base portion and the second lower-base portion. The first lower-base portion and the second lower-base portion coincide to define a junction of the pool sidewall portion and pool bottom portion. The first middle portions of the side sheets are successively connected to form a side wall of the above ground pool and the second middle portions are successively connected to form an outer ring of the bottom of the above ground pool. The second upper-base portions of the pool bottom portions are respectively connected to the edge portions of the bottom sheet. In the above ground pool of the present invention, joints are moved to a side wall of the swimming pool or the bottom of the swimming pool as much as possible, thereby reducing the length of joints passing through a heavily stressed area to the greatest extent, simplifying production processes, reducing costs, and reducing the probability of water leakage from the above ground pool.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide an improved pool. Embodiments of the present invention also provide a method of making an improved pool. The pool can comprise an integrated sidewall joined to a floor portion. The integrated sidewall can be constructed from one piece of material, and can have fewer seams than traditional pools, thereby reducing the likelihood that that pool will rupture and leak. In some embodiments, since the pool has fewer seams than traditional pools, fewer manufacturing steps are required to make the pool. This can increase manufacturing speed and decrease cost.

摘要： A modular swimming pool is constructed of one or more floor sections and a plurality of wall sections, with water-tight seams between the sections. Grooves formed in the sides of each section mate with corresponding grooves on adjacent sections and thereby form hollow channels that hold elastomeric seals. A plurality of fasteners applies compressive force to the seals, which results in formation of a water-tight seam. A skirt, also provided in sections is attached to the wall sections and forms a structural and decorative part of the pool.

摘要： A swimming pool is constructed from a compressed body of the type formed from an open cup-shaped flexible membrane having a bottom and a side wall connected to the bottom; an upper portion of the side wall of the cup-shaped flexible membrane folded externally over a lower portion of the side wall to define an outer chamber between the upper and lower portions of the side wall, the outer chamber being open adjacent the bottom of the cup-shaped flexible membrane; a plurality of substantially rigid supports inserted in the outer chamber; and the folded side wall being compressed toward a center of the cup-shaped flexible membrane. First, a base having a bottom wall and a shallow retaining wall extending around the periphery of the bottom wall and in liquid sealing contact therewith, is positioned on a flat surface. A liquid is then supplied to the base and the compressed body is positioned on the base within the shallow retaining wall such that the outer chamber opens into the liquid. Finally, the cup-shaped flexible membrane is filled with a fluid, to cause the folded side wall of the flexible membrane to be expanded outwardly until restrained by the shallow retaining wall of the base and to cause the liquid to at least substantially fill the outer chamber to provide additional rigidity to the expanded side wall.
