    Abstract: A magnetically coded card and a lock include a slot into which the card is inserted to operate the lock. The card has an aperture through which a card-impaling lock-in pin of the lock can pass when the card is fully inserted within the slot, thus retaining the card in the slot when the lock is unlocked and releasing the card when the lock is again locked.

    Abstract: A magnetic card key-operated locking device is disclosed. The locking and opening motion of the locking device is performed by a magnetic interaction between the card key and a plurality of magnetized pins. The pins are movably placed in a plurality of holes of a perforated stationary plate, a perforated operating plate and a movable plate. The pins are repulsed by a magnetic plate to cause the operating plate to be coupled to the stationary plate and thereby lock the locking device when there is no card key in a key insert slot. However, when there is a card key in the key insert slot, the pins are repulsed by the card key toward the magnetic plate to cause the operating plate to be separated from the stationary plate but to be coupled to said movable plate and thereby open the locking device.

    Abstract: In a magnetic key operated lock, a slide member carries a plurality of wheels in which are mounted magnetic pins. The position of the pins forms part of a code of the lock. The wheels are caused to rotate by insertion of a code changing key, which has a code for unlocking the lock, and moving the slide member. As the slide member moves, one of the pins which is repelled by the particular code changing key abuts a stop, which thus causes the respective wheel, and so the other wheels, to rotate. By having wheels of two different diameters, the smaller wheels can be made to rotate more than once before a code is repeated. The stops are formed by pressing a tang from a stationary wall in the lock.

    Abstract: A magnetic card switch designed so that it's possible to turn on the switch, hold it in an "on" state, turn it off and open the switch casing by using magnetic cards. A plurality of magnet lock pins (21) accommodated in a plurality of holes (10) form a predetermined code, which is provided in a slider. Slider lock means being fixedly disposed in a casing along the slider, the slider lock means having a plurality of holes (8) forming a predetermined code, which properly receive one end of the magnet lock pins, and a switch (24) disposed to correspond to the slider. When a first magnetic card (31) is inserted into the casing means, the lock pin (21a.sub.2) of the slider move in correspondence with a magnetic code of the card to unlock the slider, so that the slider moves to the backward slide position to change over the switch (24) from an "off" to an "on" or from an "on" to an "off" state. When the slider reaches the backward slide position, the lock pin of the slider moves to lock it again, thereby holding the slider in the backward slide position, and thus holding the switch in the "on" or "off" state even after the first magnetic card (31) has been withdrawn.
