    摘要: Seal assemblies for dock shelters and dock seals at a loading dock are disclosed herein. An example seal assembly includes a foam pad, a pliable cover to couple to the foam pad, and a shield to attach to the foam pad. The shield has a first end and a second end. The first end is to couple to at least one of the foam pad or the pliable cover and the second end is to project adjacent a vehicle-engaging surface of the foam pad. The shield is to move relative to the foam pad between a standby position when a vehicle is in a non-engaging relationship with the vehicle-engaging surface and a deflected position when the vehicle is in engagement with the vehicle-engaging surface.

    摘要: An aircraft door includes an outer shell with an exterior and an interior, a stiffening structure arranged on the interior of the outer shell, and at least one door seal arranged on the interior of the outer shell. The door seal is circumferential in an edge region. In the edge region between the outer shell and the door seal at least one circumferential stiffening component is arranged that is connected to the stiffening structure. Thus, in a particularly simple manner and without modifications to a stiffening structure, an aircraft door may be provided with very substantial stiffness in an edge region.

    摘要: A draft excluder for excluding drafts between a door and the floor. The draft excluder is made up of an elongated angled bracket, at least one clip, a flexible covering, and an elongated weight. The flexible covering can take the form of a cloth covering. The elongated angled bracket defines first and second sidewalls with an interior angle there-between. The first and second sidewalls respectively define first and second elongated terminal edges. During normal use the at least one clip holds the first sidewall of the bracket to the bottom of a door such that the interior angle faces downward and towards the floor beneath the door. The flexible covering defines a cover portion that extends between the first and second elongated terminal edges. The cover portion defines an interior surface and an exterior surface. The elongated weight is affixed to the interior surface of the cover portion.

The weather strip comprises an extrusion portion having a given width, a mold portion connected to an end side of said extrusion portion. The extrusion portion has a substantially V-shape spread slit provided on an end back surface thereof, and the slit is continuous from the slot and is consecutively reduced in a width as said V-shaped spread slit recedes from a position where the extrusion portion and the mold portion are connected to each other.
