    摘要: A training door, door frame, and system are disclosed that allow first responders to train on breaking open locked doors. The door frame provides a channel for a replaceable rod or bar formed of a door material, so that during training, while the rod or bar may be disfigured by repeated training exercises, the remainder of the door and frame remain intact. In this manner, only the rod or bar may need to be replaced after repeated training, rather than the entire door or frame.

    摘要: A door frame component is provided. The door frame includes: a front wall, a rear wall, an outer wall and an inner wall; a length of the front wall being substantially the same as a distance between the inner wall and the outer wall; an internal cavity at least partially defined by space between the inner wall and outer wall; and opposing first and second gripping sections defined in the internal cavity at least partially by first and second internal flanges in the internal cavity. The frame has sufficient structural integrity such that when the frame is cut height wise between the first and second internal flanges into front and rear sections, the front section can support a door on its own without the rear section.

The steel door jamb is made of three pieces of sheet metal, and the steel window frame is made of three pieces of sheet metal. These components are coupled together to create the finalized steel door system.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for preventing the intrusion of poured concrete into the space defined by a window buck installed between concrete forms. The apparatus, system, and method include a window buck panel incorporating a concrete exclusion barrier comprising a protrusion formed on the body of the window buck panel; a flange affixed to an attachment leg of the window buck panel; or an appropriately shaped leg of a window buck panel. The concrete retention barrier is configured to contact a concrete form under pressure and remain in contact as the form alters shape from the weight of infused concrete. By preventing fluid concrete from entering a defined window cavity during formation of a concrete wall the apparatus, system, and method described eliminate the need to remove hardened concrete from the interior of the cavity before window installation. Use of certain embodiments of the described invention saves time and effort in preparing the window cavity for window installation and also preserves the cleanliness and precise configuration of the window installation surface.

    摘要: A fire resistant, elevator hatchway door entrance for wall openings up to and including 10 feet in height, including first and second side jambs and a head jamb. Each side jamb includes a pair of upstanding, oppositely facing, metallic channel members dimensioned and coupled together to define both a structural box beam and a pocket for receiving the wall which defines the opening. The bight and one leg portion of one channel member define the jamb depth and reveal, respectively, of the side jamb, and the bight of the other channel member receives and shields an asociated J-strut at the wall-entrance interface. The remaining leg portion of the one channel member may cooperate with a member disposed on the trailing edge of the associated door panel to define a flame shield and a mechanical limit for preventing undue separation of the door panel from the side jamb.
