The system includes a working reservoir and an auxiliary reservoir connected to the working reservoir by a hydraulic line. An air pump has an inlet connected to a suction line that opens into a liquid-free portion of the auxiliary reservoir so that a negative pressure can be built up in the auxiliary reservoir relative to the atmospheric ambient pressure. The air pump inlet is also connected to a control line, which comprises a control opening which is covered by the hydraulic fluid in the working reservoir, at least before the air pump is started up.

    摘要: A system of de-watering boreholes by alternating cycles of aspiration and expulsion based on pneumatic displacement, includes a double hose to be introduced into a borehole. The double hose includes a flexible outer hose and a flexible inner hose separated by an annular space therebetween, the double hose adapted to reach a full depth of the borehole. The outer hose has an outer diameter less than a diameter of the borehole to provide an annular clearance between the borehole and the outer hose. An upper closing element is connected to an upper end of the double hose outside of the borehole, and has two outlets which permit entry and exit of air and water. A lower closing element is attached to the double hose at a lower end thereof, and includes a foot valve, a filter, and a protective element to serve as a battering ram.

The cover structure has an air inlet valve and a slide switch, which, when properly set, allow air to be sucked into or expelled out of the container by the manual operation of the piston to increase or decrease the internal pressure of the container for oil suction and oil drainage. The pumping device also includes another slide switch, whereby when both slide switches are properly set, the internal pressure of the container is increased or decreased due to the supply of pressurized air from an external source and oil can be sucked into and drained out of the container accordingly.

    摘要: A pressure/vacuum generator is established by coupling the pressure port of a vacuum generator to an air pressure source while coupling a valve in fluid communication with the exhaust port of the vacuum generator. When the valve is in a normally open condition (i.e, the exhaust vented to atmosphere), the vacuum port of the pressure/vacuum generator generates a vacuum. When the valve is closed, thereby closing off the exhaust port, the vacuum port becomes a pressure port. Thus, this pressure/vacuum generator can be used in any number of fluid (liquid and gas) systems (e.g., fluid recovery system, fluid transfer system, etc.)that require both a pressure source and a vacuum source while using a minimum number of components.
