    Abstract: A bearing assembly includes an outer race and an inner race. The outer race has a body extending between a pair of axial faces and defines a radially-inward facing bearing surface. The inner race is received in the outer race and has a radially-outward facing bearing surface that bears against the radially-inward facing bearing surface of the outer race. The radially-outward facing bearing surface has one or more flat surfaces removed from it. These flats on the inner race can reduce the dimensional entry requirements for insertion of the inner race into the outer race and either permits the receiving slots in the outer race to be reduced in dimension (thereby relatively thickening the wall of the outer race, which structurally strengthens the outer races) or permits the receiving slots to be eliminated altogether.

    Abstract: A rolling bearing, particularly for a gas turbine, includes a plurality of rolling elements (4) arranged between an inner ring (2) and outer ring (3), and a housing structure (8) on which the outer ring (3) is elastically mounted. The outer ring (3) is constructed in one piece and has a raceway section (7) forming a raceway (6) for the rolling elements (4), a spring section (21) and a flange (10) screwed to the housing structure (8). The spring section (21) is constructed from a plurality of spring bars (12) which adjoin a deflection section (9) adjoining the raceway section (7) at the end face thereof and adjoin the flange (10), are arranged radially outside the raceway section (7) and do not protrude axially beyond the deflection section (9) and the race way section (7).

    Abstract: A sealing system includes a casing with an internal seat, a front edge, an opening, and a radially external lateral surface defining an annular seat. The annular seat includes an annular groove axially spaced from the front edge, itself including one or more mechanical stops, and a plurality of axial grooves connected to the annular groove and interrupting radially at least part of the front edge. The annular groove defines a bottom wall provided with projections spaced from one another and defining depressions, the projections circumferentially offset from the axial grooves. The sealing system further includes a cover with a bottom wall and an annular coupling portion. A radially inner surface of the annular coupling portion includes teeth projecting radially inward and spaced circumferentially from each other. The annular seat is configured to receive the at least one pair of teeth of the annular coupling portion of the cover.

    Abstract: The ball socket assembly includes a housing with an open interior which extends along an axis. A bearing is disposed in the open interior of the housing and has a curved primary contact surface which surrounds the axis and surrounds a stud ball opening. A stud ball is disposed in the opening and is in sliding contact with the primary contact surface for allowing rotation of the stud ball relative to the bearing. The stud ball has an equator and is in sliding contact with the bearing on both sides of the equator. A stud is operably connected with the stud ball. A shoe is further provided and has a pair of supplemental contact surfaces that are biased against the stud ball. The shoe provides the stud with a predetermined rotational torque and also adjusts for wear in the assembly to maintain the performance of the socket assembly.

    Abstract: A bracket assembly for coupling an implement to an arm of a machine includes a bracket with a plate and a bushing. The plate includes an opening having an inner wall including a number of engagement structures arranged along an axial direction of the opening. The engagement structures are longitudinally spaced apart from each other. The bushing is adapted to be inserted and positioned into the opening. The bushing includes a cylindrical portion with an outer surface, an end, and a plurality of mating structures arranged on the outer surface, along an axial direction of the cylindrical portion. The mating structures are longitudinally spaced apart from each other. An engagement between the engagement structures and the mating structures facilitate multiple positions of the end relative to the plate.
