    摘要: A grinding apparatus includes: a grinding stone in which an outer circumferential surface thereof is pressed against the workpiece while being rotated and driven; and a fluid injection apparatus that has a fluid injection nozzle including an injection port from which a fluid is injected to the outer circumferential surface of the grinding stone, and a grinding oil supply apparatus that supplies a grinding oil to a processing point and that includes a grinding oil supply nozzle separate from the fluid injection nozzle, the processing point being an abutting section of the grinding stone and the workpiece, wherein the injection port is arranged so as to face the outer circumferential surface of the grinding stone in a state capable of injecting the fluid to a position different from the processing point in a radial direction of the grinding stone among the outer circumferential surface of the grinding stone.

    摘要: A honing tool includes a honing stone holder and a branching lubricant duct arranged in the honing stone holder. The branching lubricant duct has a straight section, first and second diagonal sections connected to and positioned diagonally to the straight section, and first and second transition sections that adjoin the first and second diagonal sections, respectively, and are arranged in a first plane parallel to and spaced from the straight section. The duct also has first and second open end sections continuing from the first and second transition sections, respectively, and directed towards a second plane arranged parallel to the first plane and in which the straight section is situated. In an example embodiment, the honing tool includes a honing stone fixed in the honing stone holder between the first and second transition sections.

    摘要: A processing apparatus includes two feed drums, each having an outer periphery formed with a spirally extending threaded guide surface and adapted to be driven to rotate, disposed so as to extend parallel to each other, and the feed drums are used to pass a roller through between the feed drums by the rotation thereof while the roller is caused to rollingly contact the mutually opposed threaded guide surface, and also includes a grinding stone for processing a crowned portion of the roller passing thorough between the feed drums. The threaded guide surface of the feed drums is divided into two axially juxtaposed divided threaded surface areas so that an outer peripheral surface of the roller can be supported at two anteroposterior locations.

    摘要: A gerotor device includes a rotor having outwardly extending teeth and a stator having inwardly extending teeth. The inwardly extending teeth are formed by rollers each of which is received in a respective roller pocket in the stator. Each roller pocket has a maximum pocket width measured perpendicular to a pocket centerline. Each roller pocket defines a roller bearing surface having a first side that follows a first radius and a second side on an opposite side of the centerline that follows a second radius. Each radius is greater than ½ the maximum pocket width. Each roller pocket has an edge pocket width between a first pocket edge where the pocket transitions to a generally cylindrical section in the stator and a second pocket edge on an opposite side of the centerline. The edge pocket width is less than the maximum pocket width.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing roller pockets in a stator of a gerotor device generally includes providing a stator having a cavity including a generally cylindrical section defining a central axis and a plurality of roller pockets angularly spaced around a periphery of the cylindrical section. Each roller pocket is configured to receive a respective roller, which acts as an internal tooth of the gerotor device. Each roller pocket defines a generally cylindrical roller pocket bearing surface. The method further includes grinding each roller pocket bearing surface of each roller pocket with a grinding wheel rotating about a rotational axis perpendicular to the central axis. A stator for a gerotor device is also described.
