    摘要: A butterfly valve includes a purge gas flow path supplying a purge gas for preventing inflow of a control fluid into a magnetic fluid sealing portion from a flow path through an insertion hole. The purge gas flow path is provided with an opening and closing valve for opening and closing the purge gas flow path and a pressure gauge for measuring a pressure value in the purge gas flow path, in the stated order from the upstream side. The purge gas flow path is connected to a portion between the magnetic fluid sealing portion and the flow path of the butterfly valve on the downstream side of the pressure gauge, and communicates with the flow path through the insertion hole. The butterfly valve further includes a control device that controls at least the opening and closing valve. The control device is provided with a monitoring program for monitoring a pressure value.

    摘要: Valve assemblies with butterfly valves for use as a double isolation & bleed (DIB) valve and a double block & bleed (DBB) valve. The embodiments may have a twin-disc design with a non-separable, valve body having a central bore. A pair of butterfly valves may reside in the central bore, each having an annular seal and a rotatable disc that contacts the annular seal to prevent flow of fluid into space between the butterfly valves. Implementations of the embodiments configure the annular seal with a sloped contact surface at an angle to positively seal the rotatable discs in the preferred direction of incoming flow. In this way, the valves can always close in response to either uni-directional flow into one end of the central bore or bi-directional flow into both ends of the central bore, respectively or simultaneously.

The outer circumferential surface of the sealing member has an arc surface having a diameter equal to the diameter of the passage. The arc surface comes into contact with the inner wall of the passage when the passage is closed.

    摘要: Disclosed is a manual balancing valve having an upstream end and a downstream end, and a first equalizing ring (500a) and a second equalizing ring (500b) configured at the upstream end and the downstream end, respectively. Each of the first and the second equalizing rings comprises an annular body (505) defined between an inner peripheral edge portion (510) and an outer peripheral edge portion (515), an annular chamber (520) configured adjacent to the inner peripheral edge portion, a plurality of holes (525) configured on the inner peripheral edge portion and in fluid communication with the annular chamber, and a pressure tap (T) in fluid communication with the annular chamber and extending radially outward of the annular body. The first and the second equalizing rings are adapted to provide static pressure value at each of the upstream and the downstream ends so as to measure differential pressure therebetween and control the fluid flow rate through the valve.

    摘要: A throttle valve includes a throttle body including a housing having an inner surface. The throttle body includes first and second stop surfaces arranged on the inner surface. A throttle plate is rotatable inside the housing of the throttle body about a shaft between closed and open positions. A first projection is located on a first surface of the throttle plate adjacent to a radially outer end of the throttle plate. A second projection is located on a second surface of the throttle plate adjacent to a radially outer end of the throttle plate. The second surface is opposite the first surface. The first and second projections extend outwardly from the throttle plate in opposite directions and in corresponding directions of rotational movement of the throttle plate during closing to bias against the second stop surface when the throttle valve is closed.
