Abstract: An offset hanger which is integrally formed form metal sheet includes two mounting flanges for attachment to a supporting structure, legs extending from the mounting flanges and a cylindrically shaped retainer fixed to the legs. The retainer defines a sector of a cylinder greater than 180°. The legs diverge from one another from the retainer and include longitudinally extending ribs with side flanges. The ribs are channel shaped in cross section and extend from the mounting flange to a tangent with the retainer. The sides of the channel shaped ribs are substantially triangular.

Abstract: The anti-rotation bracket according to the present invention prevents a pipe from rotating with respect to an appliance in which it is installed. The bracket includes a U-shaped member, an attachment mechanism for securing the U-shaped member to an appliance, and at least one clip extending from each of two legs of the U-shaped member for securing a rectangular crimped section of a pipe. The U-shaped member has a base and first and second legs which are spaced to receive the rectangular section of the pipe therebetween. The clips extend inward from each of the legs towards an opposite one of the legs and are configured to engage one of the flat surfaces of the rectangular section of the pipe to prevent rotation of the pipe with respect to the bracket when the bracket is attached to the appliance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a plastic clamping ridged strap which can clampingly hold an object such as an electric wire, onto a plate in cooperation with associated apertures in the plate. The clamping strap according to this invention is composed of an elongated plastic band molded to have a plurality of tall and short ridges arranged alternately with each other in such a way that each tall ridge is nearer to one adjacent short ridge than to the other. The ridged strap can pass the associated aperture of the plate only in one direction by allowing the tall ridges to yieldingly bend down when caught by the opening edge of the associated aperture. The ridged strap, however, cannot pass the associated aperture in the other direction because the short ridge will prevent the tall ridge from bending to a level low enough to allow the ridged strap to pass the aperture.
