Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention provides a fastening strap for used in a foam article. The sideway-bendable fastening strap for a foam article includes a substantially flat hollow helical body made from a single hook strap and having a first outer surface, a second outer surface, and a plurality of hooks integrally formed on each of the first and second outer surfaces; wherein the hook strap is formed by plastic injection process and has a substrate and a plurality of hooks integrally formed on one face of the substrate, and wherein the hollow helical body is formed by sequentially and continually folding the hook strap from one end of the hook strap toward the other end of the hook strap along a number folding lines which are parallel with each other and at an angle θ with respect to a longitudinal axis of the hook strap with the face having the hooks formed thereon facing outward such that the hook strap is plastically and permanently deformed at the folding lines to form a hollow helical body having a width w.
Abstract:
A surface bonding fastener includes first and second members that can be fastened with each other. Each of the first and second members includes a base sheet and a plurality of fastening units on and integrally molded with the base sheet. Each of the fastening units has first and second hooks. The first hook has a first body and a first hook portion. The second hook has a second body and a second hook portion. The first and second bodies are adjacent to each other in a transverse direction and integrally formed on the base sheet. The first and second hook portions are respectively extend from the first and second bodies and bended toward opposite directions. An overlapping degree between the first and second bodies in a longitudinal direction is configured to be determined by a desired fastening strength between the first and second members.
Abstract:
A strap tip structure includes a positioning fastener member and an outer cover. The positioning fastener member includes a mainbody, at least three clip members and an external screw structure. The at least three clip members are flexibly connected to the mainbody, and each of the clip members is an arc plate and has an end portion. The external screw structure is disposed on an outer surface of the mainbody. The outer cover is detachably connected to the positioning fastener member. The outer cover includes an inner space and an inner screw structure, and the inner screw structure matches the external screw structure. When the inner screw structure of the outer cover and the external screw structure of the positioning fastener member are screwed together, the positioning fastener member is accommodated in the inner space.
Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention provides a fastening strap assembly for used in a foam article. The fastening strap assembly includes a substrate having two sidewalls each formed along one side thereof in a longitudinal direction and spaced apart from each other; a substantially fishbone-shaped fastening member disposed between the sidewalls and adhered to the substrate, the fastening member having an elongate central rib and a plurality of fastening parts laterally extending from either sides of the rib and longitudinally spaced apart from each other, each fastening part having a plurality of hooks formed on a upper surface thereof; and a magnetic layer disposed between the substrate and the fastening member. The fastening strap assembly of the present invention has a unique sideway bending/curving function. Another aspect of the present invention provides a foam article, such as a seat cushion, including the sideway-bendable fastening strap assembly.
Abstract:
A surface bonding fastener for opening and closing an opening of a package comprises a first base sheet having a first surface; a second base sheet having a second surface facing the first surface; first and second blocking sheets secured to the first and second surfaces at first and second fixing ends; and plurality of first and second fastening units on first and second free ends opposite to the first and second fixing ends. The first and second fixing ends are closer to the opening of the package than the first and second free ends that are between the first and second base sheets. The first and second fastening units are arranged at intervals in a longitudinal direction and staggered in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The first and second fastening units are configured to be fastened with each other for closing the opening of the package.
Abstract:
An adhesive fastener for foam molding and cushion thereof are disclosed herein. The adhesive fastener comprises a strip. The strip comprises a surface with a plurality of first hooks and second hooks. The first hooks are disposed on an adhesive area and the second hooks are disposed on a surrounding area of the adhesive area. The arrange density of the first hooks is greater than the arrange density of the second hooks. Therefore, when the adhesive fastener is used in a foam material cushion, the adhesive and fastening function in the adhesive area is working normally and a combining force between the adhesive fastener and the foam material is performed well.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel method for manufacturing a hook member of a hook-and-loop fastener. The method comprises the steps of: providing a plurality of plastic monofilaments (such as polypropylene (PP) monofilaments); forming a plurality of loops on each of the plurality of plastic monofilaments such that each of the plurality of plastic monofilaments has a plurality of loop portions and flat portions between adjacent loop portions; covering the flat portions of the plurality of plastic monofilaments with a web of substrate; fusing the flat portions of the plurality of plastic monofilaments to the substrate so as to fix the plurality of loop portions of the plastic monofilaments onto the substrate; and converting the plurality of loop portions into a plurality of hook elements to thereby producing the hook member that comprises a plurality of hook elements.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a fastening strap for disposable absorbing articles comprising a fabric backing and a hook strap on which a plurality of hooks are formed for releasably engaging loops on a loop strap of the disposable absorbing articles, wherein the hook strap is secured directly to the fabric backing by means of fusion bonding to form patterns on the fastening strap to thereby producing a fastening strap for disposable absorbing articles in a more simple process without using any adhesive. A method for manufacturing this fastening strap and a disposable absorbing article including this fastening strap are also provided.
Abstract:
A cable tie including a stripe body having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A plurality of convex portions are disposed on the first surface in a regularly arranged manner. A first end of the stripe body has a stationary portion, while a second end opposite to the first end has a movable portion. A pawl hole and a pawl are formed on the stationary portion, and the width of the pawl hole is greater than that of the movable portion. Each of the convex portions of the stripe body has a hook oriented toward the first end. Therefore, the hooks engage the pawl when the movable portion of the stripe body passes through the pawl hole for achieving a securing effect.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tube fastening structure for fastening a tube in a radiant floor heating system, the tube fastening structure comprising a bottom layer and at least one fastening element. The bottom layer is fixed on ground and has a surface of loop members. The fastening element has a plurality of hook members on a first surface thereof, and the plurality of hook members are configured to be mechanically fastened to the surface of the loop members of the bottom layer. After the tube is placed on the bottom layer, the fastening element is configured to fasten the tube in a manner of surrounding the tube by a mechanical fastening between the plurality of hook members and the surface of the loop members of the bottom layer.
