摘要： A hay bale dryer features a support frame inside of which there is delimited at least one bale space and at least one manifold carrying a set of aeration spears movable between a deployed position penetrating the bale space and a retracted position withdrawn therefrom. The manifold is moved between the positions by way of an actuator driven linkage, and the aeration spears comprise hollow elongated bodies of tapered thickness toward their distal ends for more effective penetration of the hay bales. A manufacturing method uses a hydraulic press to produce the hollow elongated bodies from lengths of originally cylindrically pipe. Horizontal feeding tables and upright feeding racks feature displaceable bale movers for moving queued hay bales along one or more queuing lanes into one or more bale dryers.

摘要： An apparatus, a system, and a method for heat treating a moisture-containing or water-laden material are provided. The heat treatment can be drying for dehydration, gasification, or full carbonization. The system comprises a feeding mechanism, and a rapid compression (RCU)apparatus having a screw, a barrel, and one or more flow disrupters. The system can further include a reflux condenser, an aftercooler stage, a second condenser for particle filtering, and an exit mechanism. The one or more flow disrupters are located on an inner surface of the barrel and projects into the passageway created by the screw and the barrel. The screw is sized to fit within the barrel such that flow disrupter does not contact the screw. The one or more flow disrupters cause the water-laden material to fold over onto its self, thereby, allowing for the occurrence of more uniform drying.

摘要： A device and method for storing, curing, drying hay and other fibrous plant materials which includes a flexible water impermeable bag, as injection means at one end and an adjustable vent at the opposite end, and preferably spacer means between stacks of baled materials. The bales are progressively loaded at one end as the bag is unrolled and extended progressively laterally for additional bales. After loading, the gas injection and vent means are connected at ends of the bag and are adjusted to generate a back pressure within the bag to partially inflate it. The flowrate of gas or air is adjusted to maintain the temperature within the bales within an optimal range, preferably between ambient temperature and 120 degrees Fahrenheit enabling beneficial curing until sufficient moisture has been removed to prevent mold growth.
