摘要:
A firearm firing control system includes a touchless sensor firing control assembly for touchless control of firing the firearm. The sensor is electrically connected to a power source and a load. When the sensor senses input (e.g., movement), an activation voltage from the power source causes the load to mechanically operate the trigger mechanism of the firearm. Circuit logic electrically resets the sensor, and the action of the slide mechanically resets the load.

A method of loading individual caseless cartridges sequentially into a firearm firing chamber by the expansive force of a small detonation in the magazine focused locally on the current top cartridge in a magazine without damaging remaining cartridges. Small individual propelling charges containing an igniter microchip located in the magazine behind each cartridge provides the loading thrust. More energetic charges containing igniter microchips are imbedded in the cartridges to fire the cartridge in the firing chamber at will.

Disclosed is a chamber closing piece (1) for firearms. Said chamber closing piece (1) can be rotatably and reversibly moved forward in the direction of the barrel muzzle (3) and rearward in the direction of the rear stock (4) and comprises one or several mechanisms (8) for indirectly or directly firing a bullet (9) that faces the muzzle in relation to the chamber closing piece (1). Said mechanism (8) for firing the ammunition is based on an electrical and/or thermal and/or optical and/or laser-based active principle.

A pyrotechnical primer for igniting propellant powder for sleeveless ammunition comprises an igniting element (4) and a coil (1). The energy required for triggering is transmitted in an electromagnetic manner (inductively). The inductive primer is cost-effective, entirely combustible, easy to produce and is not provided with residues that damage the functioning of the weapons. The primer has a base construction such that the primer can be used in all conventional weapons calibres. To this end, the ignition element (4) and the coil (1) are located on a mutual, flat, combustible consumable or support material (5).

A radio frequency receiver, in response to input command signals from some remote source, initiates electrical powering of an electronic firing circuit through which electric pulses are generated and fed through a power cable to impulse cartridges at the upper ends of storage tubes within a payload dispenser. The impulse cartridges in response to such pulses ignites the payloads stored therebelow within the storage tubes closed by retention caps that are ejected with the payload from the dispenser during ignition.

An inductive coupling device is provided wherein the transmission of energy through the device is controlled by the application of a steady magnetic field within the magnetically permeable core of the device, transmission being inhibited at high magnetic field intensity and restored when the magnetic field intensity is reduced to a low value. The device is especially advantageous for the safe coupling of ignition elements, such as blasting detonators, to an a.c. firing energy source.

An arrangement for the contactless transmission of electrical energy to a missile during the firing thereof from a firing device including a transformer-like coil system having a primary coil system connected to the firing device and a secondary coil system connected to the missile. The primary coil system is supplied with electric energy and the secondary coil system is responsive to the electric energy developed in the primary coil system for developing electrical energy therein. A partition is arranged between the primary coil system and the secondary coil system and is formed of a nonmagnetic material capable of withstanding thermal and mechanical stresses of repeated firings by the firing device. The partition is fixedly connected with the firing device and disposed for sealing the primary coil system with respect to the missile at least during the firing of the missile from the firing device.

A rocket firing system comprises a magnetic core, a co-axial driver coil and a sensor coil or coils which are connected to a detector device which detects the presence and the desired state of a further coil which is inductively linked to the magnetic core. In use a low-power signal voltage is first applied to the driver coil. Subject to the detector device indicating the presence and desired state of a firing circuit of a rocket including the further coil, an operating power voltage is then applied to the driver coil to induce a firing voltage in the firing circuit.
