摘要： A sling apparatus has a sling body with downwardly extending first and second arms downwardly. First and second upper straps is coupled to the sling body for carrying the sling body. A first release mechanism is coupled to a distal end of the first arm and a second release mechanism is coupled to a distal end of the second arm. The first and second release mechanisms are configured to attach to an object to be carried by a user, such as with a shoulder strap. A trigger assembly is integrated into the sling body and interconnected to the first and second release mechanisms, whereby actuating the trigger mechanism of the trigger assembly causes simultaneous detachment of the first and second release mechanisms from the object and thereby release of the object from the sling apparatus.

摘要： Apparatus and methods are provided for holding an archery bow in a ready, near shooting position. A harness is worn around a hunter's chest. A sling also attaches to the hunter for holding a lower cam/pulley or lower limb of a compound archery bow. A bow string holder is carried by the harness. The bow string holder attaches to a string portion of the compound archery bow and allows the archery bow to hang therefrom to maintain tension on the bow string holder. The tension prevents the bow string holder from releasing the string until the tension is released upon the hunter's lifting of the archery bow from the sling for shooting an arrow.

The carrier assembly includes a generally rigid, elongated base member having spaced, outwardly extending support structures. Elastic straps securely fasten the bow or firearm to the carrier assembly and provision is made for a quick connect/disconnect assembly. A pair of adjustable shoulder straps are disposed on the base member for receipt over a user's shoulders. Another elastic strap selectively secures the carrier assembly to a conventional, portable tree stand.
