    摘要: A sighting device is provided which is used to produce an optically perceptible target marking on an object. The sighting device includes one or more light sources for providing at least two sighting rays. A precision target marking is produced in such a manner that each of the sighting rays is directed onto a respective optical component enabling both of the sighting rays to be split on a respective illumination plane in such a manner that at least two illumination planes intersect at an angle. The point of intersection forms the target marking.     摘要: A method and an apparatus for flight path correction of one or more projectiles (2-6) with the aid of a guide beam (9), wherein target data, such as speed, range and direction of movement, are continuously acquired in a fire-guidance system associated with the firing device (1), for example, an automatic cannon, and are transmitted to the laser apparatus (21) that produces the guide beam (9), and wherein each projectile includes a receiving apparatus (31) which receives the guide beam (9). To be able to correct, in a simple manner with a pulse correction, both individual projectiles as well as a plurality of projectiles flying closely behind one another in time and having different courses, the guide beam (9) is aimed toward the collision point (15) calculated on the basis of the target data, and the guide beam (9) is subdivided into a plurality, at least five, partial beams (guide beam segments 10-14) including a central guide beam segment (10) which is aimed at the collision point (15) and around which the remaining partial beams or beam segments are disposed. The guide beam segments (10-14) are all modulated differently. Each projectile (2-6), with the aid of its respective receiving apparatus (31), then determines the angular position necessary for the correction, with respect to the collision point (15), from the modulation of the respective received guide beam segment (10-14).

The laser generates a laser beam, and the first and second cylindrical holographic lenses transform the laser beam into a x-direction and y-direction scan patterns, respectively. The variable zoom lens projects the x-direction and y-direction scan patterns in the form of multiple scan fields, each within a scan corridor, in order to guide a projectile along a flight path towards a target.

    摘要: A device for automatically compensating for dynamic boresight errors between a visual line of sight and the apparent center of a beam of radiation emitted by the device. The radiation emitted by the device is used to guide a "beam-riding" missile to its target. Different sectors of the beam radiated by the device are modulated by different codes so that the missile can sense the apparent center of the beam. Optics within the device sense the extent to which the visual line of sight deviates from the apparent center of the radiated beam by means of measurements upon the coincidence of the visual line of sight and the apparent center of the beam of radiation within the device. The device then alters the coding of the radiated beam so that the apparent center of the radiated beam maintains alignment with the visual line of sight.

    摘要: An optical arrangement for use in boresighting a plurality of optical paths utilized in a missile beam guidance system, to the target trackers used therewith. A boresight module optical bed supports a plurality of retro-reflective optical assemblies in a closely spaced array, and nearby is a rotational optical assembly in which is mounted an integrated laser system for providing beam guidance to a missile. The rotational optical assembly also contains a plurality of target trackers, and in a first operational mode, the laser of the rotational assembly is successively utilized in conjunction with the retro-reflective optical assemblies in order to accurately and conveniently boresight the trackers. Thereafter, the trackers are used in the acquisition and tracking of a target, and the laser is utilized for guiding the missile to intercept the target.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for projecting a laser beam for communication or guidance purposes wherein transmitted energy goes directly to a receiver area without requiring services of slewing or tracking devices. The energy is precisely directed from a laser transmitter on a missile toward a receiver at a tracking area. By directing the laser energy from a source on the missile during flight and by performing phase conjugating amplification of this laser energy at a tracking area station, atmospheric distortions are removed from the return energy and beam broadening is limited only to the negligible effects of diffraction broadening of the return energy, with the laser return beam being directed almost exclusively back to the missile.
