The method for guidance of a projectile, includes emission from the launching position of the projectile of beams pointing to the vertexes of a regular polygon, emission from the launching position of a beam encompassing the preceding beams, determination of position of the projectile relative to the beams, the determined position enabling to correct the projectile trajectory to maintain the projectile the closer to the center of the polygon formed by the beams.

    摘要: A process and a device for electromagnetic guidance of a craft, applied in particular to the tracking of targets. Guidance is carried out with respect to the axis of the beam of a monopulse antenna, by coding in space of the beam. The coding is carried out by appropriate modulation of the signals radiated by a sum pattern and difference pattern. A receiver is disposed in the craft to make it possible to determine the position of the craft with respect to the antenna radiation patterns, and hence its position with respect to the axis of the antenna, the determination of this position being performed by demodulating the signals captured by the receiver. The process and device may be applied in particular in respect of the guidance of any number of missiles or intelligent munitions, for example in the tracking of targets.

    摘要: A method of guiding an air-to-air missile launched from a penetrating aircraft at a target aircraft having a search radar therein is shown. The missile changes from a passive antiradiation homing mode to an active seeker mode when the missile is detected and the search radar is shutdown. The active seeker uses a synthetic aperture radar that is squinted at the target aircraft. At the handover point when the search radar is shutdown, the missile executes a turn away from the target aircraft to bring the target aircraft within the synthetic aperture radar coverage. The amount of turn is within preselected limits based on several parameters.

The method including: providing reference signals from RF reference sources to illuminate RF sensors on the moving object; positioning the RF reference sources to form a reference coordinate system; determining position information designating a position of the target in the reference coordinate system by a forward observer; fixing at least one of the RF reference sources at the forward observer in the reference coordinate system; determining a position and orientation of the moving object in the reference coordinate system on board the moving object based on signals received at the RF sensors from the RF reference sources and based on the positions of the RF reference sources; and guiding the moving object to the target at least based on the determined position and orientation of the moving object and the determined position information of the designated target.
