摘要： A flow meter has a housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a measuring chamber between the inlet and outlet. The measuring chamber has a diameter larger than that of the inlet. A blade section is located between the inlet and the measuring chamber, and the blade section comprises a cylindrical part near the measuring chamber and having a cylindrical inner wall, an expanding part between the cylindrical part and the inlet, and spiral blades which extend from the expanding part to the housing, for imparting the rotational movement to the fluid when the fluid enters the measuring chamber. A ball is positioned in the measuring chamber such that the rotational movement of the fluid moves the ball in a circular motion around the measuring chamber for measuring the flow of the fluid.

摘要： A positive displacement fluid handling apparatus comprises a body including a closed loop tunnel with a circular cross section, laid out in an oblong geometry with two substantially semicircular sections of the tunnel respectively disposed at the two extremities thereof and respectively open to two ports, and a plurality of spherical balls with diameter closely matched to the diameter of the circular cross section of the closed loop tunnel disposed within the closed loop tunnel in a freely movable arrangement, wherein a star wheel disposed in conjunction with one of the two substantially semicircular sections of the tunnel in a rotatable arrangement about the axis of rotation disposed in a parallel and offset relationship to the central axis of radius of the substantially semicircular section of the tunnel feeds the spherical balls past the inlet port open to that substantially semicircular section of the tunnel.

摘要： The disclosed flow sensor includes a pipe segment forming a flow passage, having vanes that cause the entering liquid to spiral in passing through a flow-detection zone. An orbital ball is captive in the zone, orbiting in proportion to the flow velocity. A localized capacitive flow detector and a companion capacitive electrode sense the orbiting of the ball. The capacitive electrodes are coupled to the frequency-determining portion of a feedback-stabilized oscillator whose output is modulated each time the ball travels past the sensing electrode. A feedback-stabilized oscillator having a sensing coil is similarly modulated by the effect of a vaned rotor moving past the coil. Different forms of feedback having a long-time-constant maintain high sensitivity of the oscillator to the effect of the flow-activated device.

摘要： A system for detecting changes in the electrical conductivity or capacitance of a fluid occasioned by the passage of a follower element is disclosed which includes a hollow fluid passage such as a flowmeter through which a fluid is caused to pass and is provided with at least one follower element of similar cross sectional shape to that of the passage and of a size slightly smaller than the passage which is free to move along the passage and has electrical conductance or capacitance properties substantially different from the fluid. At least one electrically-conductive sensor is disposed in the passage in electrical communication with the fluid. A detector circuit is utilized to sense changes in conductance or capacitance through said fluid in accordance with the presence of said follower element in the conductive path.

摘要： A flowmeter-volumeter of the type which counts the revolutions of a mobile body in a revolution channel into which open a fluid inlet passage and a fluid exhaust passage. The device includes a first flange grooved with a revolution groove which is a first portion of the channel and grooved with one of both said passages, and a second flange grooved with a revolution groove which is a second portion of the channel and grooved with the other one one of the passages. Both flanges are connected by fastening means arranged for allowing a rotation displacement relative to each other, in order to be able to adjust the distance between the openings through which both passages open into the channel. The device is used to measure flow of a fluid.
