摘要: The invention concerns a multiaxial universal testing machine, which allows evaluating the mechanical behaviour and performance of materials with planar structures, such as fabrics, composites and laminates. The machine comprises 4 horizontal axes at 45°, with 8 gripping jaws displaceable along slide rails and moved by the action of 8 independent motors. The connection between a gripping jaw and its respective motor is assured by a linear actuator. The test specimen is fixed by the gripping jaws and can be subject to tensile, compression and fatigue testing, making possible the analysis of the materials behaviour under simultaneous multi-directional loads.

摘要: A method and apparatus for testing a test piece having opposing ends includes connecting the ends of the test piece to a first load head and to a plate which may be attached to a second test head, respectively. The device actuates a driving device to spatially adjust the load head to apply a variable load to the test piece. The device determines the magnitude and direction of load head displacement variables applied to the load head, measures the actual magnitude and direction of displacement of the load head in relation to a fixed plate, sets and varies boundary conditions of the test piece from the displacement of the load head, compares actual values of the boundary conditions with freely programmable predetermined desired values of the boundary conditions, and determines a control variable for the driving device. In order to extend testing capabilities, the device determines additional control variables for the driving device using one of values measured in a test area located between the ends of the test piece and values that can be reduced to correspondingly measured values, wherein functional dependencies of the additional control variables are determined before the determination of the load head displacement variables or by identifying the additional control variables in the test.

摘要: A testing arrangement includes a test specimen that is formed of a fiber composite that has first, second, and third groups of fiber ply layers. Each fiber ply layer is curved so as to have an elbow. The elbows are joined back-to-back at a central region to form first, second, and third arms that extend outwardly from the central region. The elbows define a space in the central region, and there is a space-filler within the space. The test specimen is mounted in a testing fixture such that the first and second arms are in four-point bend loading and the third arm is oriented vertically. The testing fixture is actuatable to apply an actuated load. There is an applied load on the third arm. The applied load and the actuated load cause stress in the space-filler for evaluating mechanical behavior of the space-filler.

摘要: The present invention provides a testing and characterization method for an initial fatigue damage and development process of vulcanized rubber, and falls within the technical field of rubber. The testing and characterization method comprises the following steps: preparing vulcanized rubber; preparing test samples; preparing fatigue testing specimens; and characterizing an initial fatigue damage and development process. The testing and characterization method provided by the present invention is simple, and closely associates a simple and easy-to-implement macro mechanical property test with changes of an internal microstructure, which are difficult to observe and analyze; and the method is high in efficiency and easy for operation and data collection, and data measured has good reference.

摘要: A testing device for simulating coalbump includes a testing chamber. A first oil cylinder, a second oil cylinder and a third oil cylinder are provided within the testing chamber; each piston rod of each oil cylinder can stretch or retract. A first reaction seat, a second reaction seat and a third reaction seat are arranged opposite to a side of the first piston rod of the first oil cylinder, a side of the second piston rod of the second oil cylinder and a side of the third piston rod of the third oil cylinder respectively. The testing device includes a shear loading unit including a fourth oil cylinder and a fifth oil cylinder located on a same axis, and a side of a fourth piston rod of the fourth oil cylinder and a side of a fifth piston rod of the fifth oil cylinder are arranged opposite to each other.
