摘要: A method for evaluating an height of an object in the surrounding environment of a vehicle, using ultrasonic signals acquired by an ultrasonic sensor mounted on the vehicle. In a measurement cycle, a first ultrasonic signal is acquired as an edge reflection or as a directly traveling echo of an object. An expectation window is calculated for an associated interior-corner reflection. A second ultrasonic signal acquired in the expectation window is recognized as an interior-corner reflection associated with the first ultrasonic signal. The first and second ultrasonic signals are combined to form a signal group. A significance is determined for each ultrasonic signal. The signal group is assigned to a first or second echo group. The rates of the assignment to the first and to the second echo group are determined over a number of measurement cycles. An evaluation of the height is based on the first and second rates.

摘要: A transmitter transmits ultrasound signals towards a region to be imaged. The reflected ultrasound signals from the region are detected by a receiver. The transmitter and/or receiver is or are moved relative to the region to create Doppler phase shift. The time compression/expansion caused by the Doppler phase shift is dewarped by filtering in order to recover the amplitudes of the ultrasound signals reflected from different portions of the region for imaging.

摘要: A passband characteristic of a band pass filter is adapted to an examinee while a texture of an ultrasound image is maintained or is not significantly changed. A passband characteristic of a BPF is dynamically changed in accordance with a depth of an observation point (reception focus). The passband characteristic includes convex forms, and the convex forms have peaks as highest points in a gain axis direction and have widths in a frequency axis direction. A peak position is relatively changed with respect to the width while an upper limit and a lower limit of the width are substantially maintained. Accordingly, the convex forms are biased to a low-frequency side or a high-frequency side.

摘要: Various embodiments include methods and systems having detection apparatus operable to cancel or reduce leakage signal originating from a source signal being generated and transmitted from a transmitter. A leakage cancellation signal can be generated digitally, converted to an analog signal, and then subtracted in the analog domain from a received signal to provide a leakage-reduced signal for use in detection and analysis of objects. A digital cancellation signal may be generated by generating a cancellation signal in the frequency domain and converting it to the time domain. Optionally, an estimate of a residual leakage signal can be generated and applied to reduce residual leakage remaining in the leakage-reduced signal. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods can be implemented in a variety of applications.

摘要: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging for analyzing shear wave characteristics utilizes a background motion compensation subsystem which acts as a spatial filter of pulse-to-pulse autocorrelation phases over the ROI of tracking pulse vectors to compensate for background motion. The subsystem is configured to compute the sum of all lag-1 autocorrelations of tracking line ensemble data over the tracking ROI, for each PRI. The inventive technique does not significantly reduce sensitivity to shear waves, because the shear wave is spatially smaller than the ROI.

摘要: An object information acquiring apparatus includes a probe configured to irradiate ultrasonic waves to an object, receive ultrasonic echoes, and convert the ultrasonic echoes into electric signals, a scanning unit configured to cause the probe to perform back-and-forth scanning on the object, an ultrasonic control unit configured to control irradiation of ultrasonic waves, a signal processing unit configured to obtain an ultrasonic, and a combining unit configured to combine a plurality of ultrasonic images. The scanning unit causes the probe to perform back-and-forth scanning on the object such that regions subjected to ultrasonic irradiation performed by the probe in forward and backward paths in the back-and-forth scanning overlap with each other. The ultrasonic control unit employs different methods for irradiating ultrasonic waves in the forward and backward paths. The combining unit combines a plurality of ultrasonic images with one another.

摘要: An FSK modulator 20 applies FSK modulation processing to an RF wave supplied from an RF wave oscillator 22, by means of frequency shift keying (FSK) based on a periodical signal sequence supplied from a pattern generator 24, to thereby generate an FSK continuous wave. The continuous wave output from the FSK modulator 20 is delayed in delay circuits 26I and 26Q and is then supplied, as a reference signal, to each of mixers of a receiving mixer 30. Each of the delay circuits 26I and 26Q delays the continuous wave by a delay amount in accordance with a depth of a target position and outputs a delayed reference signal. Thus, demodulation processing is performed with a correlation between a reception signal from the target position and the reference signal being enhanced, and Doppler information from the target position is selectively extracted by a Doppler information analyzing unit 44.
