    摘要: An infilled artificial surface has natural grass-like play characteristics due to the use of two distinct groups of fibers extending upwardly from a backing, and a stabilizing fill material residing on the backing, with a first upper group of fibers simulating grass plants and extending above the infill and a second lower group of preferably texturized fibers extending upward from the backing to the top of, but not above, the fill. With this structure, substantially all of the fill material is stabilized within the vertical level of the second lower group of fibers. This second group of fibers nulllocksnull the fill material in place and helps to promote consistent and uniform play characteristics which closely simulate natural grass, with a nullfoot feelnull of natural turf. This structure also improves the durability of this playing surface, compared to prior infilled surfaces.

    摘要: A mold releasable composite material for wet production of a polyurethane resin synthetic leather is disclosed, comprising of a polymer base and a composition layer laminated on at least one surface of the polymer base, the composition layer consisting of 50 to 95% by weight of a styrenic polymer having a syndiotactic structure and 5 to 50% by weight of a polyolefin, the mold releasable composite material having a peeling strength of 300 g/15 mm or more, preferably, the composition layer being subjected to embossing processing, and an anchor coating agent being used in laminating of the composition layer on the polymer base, which overcomes the defects involved in the conventional production process of a polyurethane resin synthetic leather in a wet process which has such an advantage that a synthetic leather having a good breathability and a soft feeling is obtained.

    摘要: The present invention is directed at a carpet which comprises a) yarn tufted into a primary backing, wherein the primary backing has a face side and a back side and wherein the yarn is adhesively attached to the primary backing; b) a woven secondary backing with a first side and a second side wherein the first side is directly or indirectly attached to the back side of the primary backing; and c) a thermoplastic polymer layer adjacent to the second side of the secondary backing, wherein the polymer layer is attached to the secondary backing via melt bonding. The present invention is also directed at a method of manufacturing a carpet including: tufting a yarn into a primary backing, wherein the primary backing has a face side and a back side; adhesively affixing the yarn to the primary backing; providing a woven secondary backing having a first side and a second side; attaching directly or indirectly the first side of the secondary backing to the back side of the primary backing; and applying a thermoplastic polymer layer to the second side of the secondary backing under conditions suitable to melt bond the thermoplastic polymer layer to the secondary backing.

    摘要: An ozone fade resistant dyed carpet made of dyed sheath/core face fibers has a sheath substantially or completely covering the core. The sheath is composed of a fiber-forming polymer which is inherently chemically compatible and is selected from polymers that are resistant to dye migration and yet inherently chemically compatible with the core polymer. The face fibers are dyed with at least one acid dye, basic dye or disperse dye and resist ozone fading as indicated by a CIEL*a*b* total color difference from the original unexposed sample after at least 3 cycles of ozone fading that is less than one-half of the CIEL*a*b* total color difference seen for a fiber composed substantially completely of said core polyamide component that is dyed with the same dyes. The fibers may be cabled and heatset in which case even more substantial improvement in the ozone fastness is observed.
