摘要: An imaging device for capturing an image within a human body comprises an elongate mechanical arm and an imaging assembly coupled to the arm at a distal arm-location. The imaging assembly comprises a camera, a pivot member defining a pivot axis and engaged with the camera such that the camera is pivotable about the pivot axis throughout a pivot range, and an actuation member configured to pivot the camera in response to a remote user input. The pivot range can include a point at which an orientation of the camera is rotated at least 90° from an orientation of the elongate arm at the distal arm-location. The wherein the pivot range can include at least a range of 45° in at least a plane parallel to a longitudinal centerline of the elongate arm at the distal arm-location.

A hinge pivotably couples the camera to the cannula and permits the camera to pivot from a first position at the distal end of the cannula to a second position different than the first position at the distal end of the cannula. Some implementations include a pointed distal tip that carries the camera. Some implementations include two cameras posed back to back.

摘要: An endoscope has a pannable camera at the distal end of its insertion shaft, the pannable camera assembly being pivotable to provide a range of a field of view that can be equal to or greater than 180 degrees. A terminal light emitting element may be mounted to the camera assembly in order to illuminate the immediate field of view of the camera sensor regardless of the rotational position of the camera assembly. A fluid-carrying conduit of the insertion section may also be used to house functional components, including the camera assembly, actuation cables, a communications cable connected to the camera sensor, and/or a fiberoptic cable providing light to the light emitting element. A distal section of the endoscope handle may be rotatable relative to a proximal handheld section of the endo scope handle, a rotary encoder being provided to convert the rotational position of the insertion shaft relative to the handle into a signal for the purpose of image orientation correction by an electronic processor.

摘要: The aspects of the disclosed embodiments provide training simulators intended for training endoscope operation skills. Training may be carried out with the use of training inserts or using virtual reality technology. An endoscopy device comprises an endoscope assembly and an endoscopic camera assembly. The endoscope of the endoscope assembly is configured to be connected to an optical adapter of the endoscopic camera assembly via an eyepiece protection window so that the endoscope may rotate freely about its own axis. The training simulator may measure parameters of the camera sharpness and parameters of the endoscope rotation relative to the camera.

The guide tube may further include an optical device integrally formed with the body. A cross-section of a proximal portion of the guide tube may be greater than a cross-section of a distal portion of the guide tube.

摘要: There is provided herein an integrated manifold for the tip of a multiple viewing elements endoscope which combines the functionalities of the front holder, side holder/cage and fluid channeling components into a single part. The manifold includes square slots that are equipped with tracks. Square shaped lens assemblies having protrusions are used in the endoscope tip, such that the protrusions allow the optical assemblies to slide into the tracks of the square slots. This ensures gapless placement of viewing elements with no deviation in their position and field of view.
