    摘要: A flap-type indicating device includes two, co-axially mounted indicator assemblies and a resilient synchronizing element interposed therebetween for insuring the synchronous changing of the indicator elements upon the two assemblies at a predetermined time. A cam member, integrally formed upon the rotatable drum of one of the assemblies, is provided for axially biasing the synchronizing element toward the other one of the assemblies so as to prevent the changing of the indicator device prior to the predetermined time, and a lug member is operatively associated with one of the flaps of the first assembly for continuing the biasing action of the synchronizing element towards the other indicator assembly after the cam member has been released from the synchronizing element and until the occurrence of the predetermined time.

    摘要: An alarm signaling time setting member is coupled to a minute indication drum having minute-scale alarm time graduations and an hour indication drum having hour-scale alarm signaling time graduations is intermittently advanced by the minute indication drum. First and second detection members for detecting the alarm signaling time are provided in correspondence to an hour time wheel and a minute time wheel respectively. The first detection member is geared to the second detection member, and the second detection member is geared to the minute indication drum to permit the detection member positions to be continuously set.

    摘要: A rotary transmission between a "minute" display mechanism and an "hour" display mechanism is disclosed for use in a digital clock of leaf type. The transmission is disposed between a first bobbin supporting minute's display members and a second bobbin supporting "hour's" display members. The first bobbin carries a planetary gear, which meshes with a ring gear as well as a driven gear formed on the second bobbin. The ring gear has a number of teeth which is different from the number of teeth on the driven gear.

    摘要: A counting device with ball actuated, aligned, rotatable indicating elements is disclosed that is particularly useful as a clock. The device includes a plurality of indicating elements rotatable around parallel axes, arranged side by side in three columns. Each indicating element includes a display portion and a ball actuated flange, mounted on a common axle with the flanges of adjacent elements in each column forming a ball conveying track. The elements are successively rotated to the upward display position by a ball whose continued presence atop an element's flange causes an appropriate rotation of that element. The balls are continuously recycled by a synchronous motor elevator which collects the balls at their lowest position and returns them to their highest position in communication with the ball conveying tracks. After all of the indicating elements in a column have been raised to their display position, the ball resets the first rotated element causing it to reset the adjacent elements. In this way the elements are returned to their downward position by a domino effect.

    摘要: Automatic indicia changer, such as a clock-calendar for displaying months, days of the month, days of the week, hours and minutes, comprises a plurality of series of plates bearing the various indicia, each series being rotatable about its axis under the influence of a ratchet wheel that is moved stepwise by a dog, each step changing the indicia one increment. The dog is swung by a lever which in turn is swung by a rotary cam. The first series of indicia is driven by a motor; while the first series drives the second and the second drives the third, and so on. Thanks to the ratchet wheel and pawl drive, each series of indicia can be manually adjusted without interrupting the automatic drive. Manual adjustment may be effected either rapidly, by turning the ratchet wheel with an external knob, or stepwise by pressing with the finger on a protrusion on the associated swingable lever.
