Abstract: A variable timepiece display mechanism includes a resilient hand with two drive pipes integral with a one-piece flexible strip includes a tip or an index, with a driver for driving the pivoting of the pipe, and a stressor for stressing the strip so as to vary the position of the tip relative to the axis of the pipes, which includes an accelerator or decelerator device arranged such that it accelerates, or stabilizes the speed of, or slows down the first pipe and/or the second pipe over at least part of the angular travel thereof, which includes a device with a first differential gear on the drive gear train of the first pipe and/or a second differential gear on the drive gear train of the second pipe, and at least one cam forming an input of a differential gear.

An elastic arm (803) has a distal end which cooperates with the track and a rising edge of which raises the elastic arm (803) away from the axis of the cam to consume torque, and a falling edge which makes the elastic arm move back towards the axis to restore torque to the system.

Abstract: In a timepiece movement, more particularly a quartz wrist watch movement, having a low-torque stepping motor, there is provided a differential mechanism which drives the hands and makes it possible to move the hour-hand alone in jumps. A cannon-pinion having a toothing acts as a sun gear. A planet gear is mounted on an hour-wheel which acts as a planet carrier. A ring gear takes the form of an annulus having internal teeth which is normally stationary but is controlled by a stem and can be rotated by jumps to cause the planet gear to roll along the cannon-pinion toothing, thus causing the planet carrier and consequently the hour hand to jump.

Abstract: A rotary transmission between a "minute" display mechanism and an "hour" display mechanism is disclosed for use in a digital clock of leaf type. The transmission is disposed between a first bobbin supporting minute's display members and a second bobbin supporting "hour's" display members. The first bobbin carries a planetary gear, which meshes with a ring gear as well as a driven gear formed on the second bobbin.
