The entire auxiliary storage device is constituted by a silicon disk, or by a hard disk and the silicon disk.

摘要： A machine controller apparatus provides simple, effective, efficient and reliable control operation, facilitates repair and periodic maintenance and eliminates the need for either an operating manual or a service manual for the machine being controlled. The machine control apparatus includes a processor device for performing a plurality of predetermined control and logical operations. Memory is coupled to the processor means for storing predetermined machine characteristic data and a user input device is coupled to the processor device for receiving user input selections. The processor device is responsive to both the predetermined machine characteristic data stored by the memory and a received predefined one of the user input selections for performing at least one of the plurality of predetermined control and logical operations. A display device is coupled to the processor device for displaying a plurality of menu-specific user input selections responsive to the received predefined one of the user input selections.

摘要： An automation system has a work drive unit (22), in which work programs (14, 16, 18, 20) and work data (15, 17, 19) are stored. It also has a back-up drive unit (12). By means of a back-up program (20), a back-up copy (23, 24) of at least part of the work programs (14, 16, 18,20) and work data (15, 17, 19) can be stored in the back-up drive unit (12). As a result, the part of the work programs (14, 16, 18, 20) and work data (15, 17, 19) can be restored again if required.
