摘要: A control system configured to control a predetermined unit by using a control program running on a general-purpose OS. The control system includes an auxiliary storage device configured to store the general-purpose OS, the control program, and various data items required for the control program to run, and a main storage device on which each of the general-purpose OS and the control program are loaded when they are executed. The entire auxiliary storage device is constituted by a silicon disk, or by a hard disk and the silicon disk.

摘要: A machine learning apparatus which learns the predicted life of a NAND flash memory provided in a numerical control device includes a state observation unit which observes state variables obtained based on at least one of the rewrite count, the rewrite interval, the read count, the temperature in the use environment, the error rate, information concerning the manufacturer, and information concerning the manufacturing lot for the NAND flash memory, and information concerning the ECC (Error Correction Coding) performance, information concerning the manufacturer, and information concerning the manufacturing lot for a memory controller which performs ECC processing for the NAND flash memory, and a learning unit which learns the predicted life of the NAND flash memory based on teacher data, and training data generated from the output of the state observation unit and data associated with the life of the NAND flash memory.

摘要: A machine tool controller is provided that includes a processor configured to execute a sequence of instructions in accordance with an operating program and a user program. A volatile memory temporarily stores instructions and data during execution of the sequence of instructions by the processor, and is coupled to the processor via a first interface. A first non-volatile memory stores the operating program and is coupled to the processor via a second interface. A second non-volatile memory stores the user program and is coupled to the processor via a third interface. A video controller is configured to control a user display in accordance with display data generated by the processor and is coupled to the processor via a fourth interface. A dual-port memory is coupled to the processor via a fifth interface and couples a serial bus controller configured to control communications with an external device via a serial bus to the processor. An external bus interface is configured to communicate control commands for controlling a machine tool generated by the processor via an external bus and is coupled to said processor via a sixth interface.

摘要: In an embroidery data preparing device for preparing embroidery seam data on the basis of an original picture pattern for embroidery, a plurality of desired different sizes are selected for the same pattern to be embroidered and stitch and the sizes are stored in a memory device. An original picture pattern is read out by an image scanner to obtain the original picture data and then outline data are extracted from the original picture data. The outline data are divided into a plurality of blocks, for closed areas, to obtain intermediate embroidery data. The intermediate embroidery data are enlarged or reduced at a magnifying power corresponding to each desired pattern size and embroidery seam data are obtained for each desired pattern size on the basis of the enlarged or reduced intermediate embroidery data to thereby collectively prepare the embroidery seam data for the plurality of different pattern sizes.
