摘要: Systems, processes, articles of manufacture, and techniques may be used to determine a machining shape for a surface to be machined. In particular implementations, determining a machining shape may include retrieving stored surface measurements for a surface to be machined, the measurements representing the surface at a plurality of points for each of a number of measurement locations on the surface, and analyzing the measurements to determine a shape to which the surface should be machined. Determining a machining shape may also include determining the surface that may be achieved by machining to the determined shape, analyzing the determined surface to determine whether it is acceptable, and storing the determined shape based on whether the determined surface is acceptable.

The image can be transformed into a set of machine instructions for controlling the computer-numerically-controlled machine to effect a change in a material. The change can correspond to at least a portion of the pattern. At least one machine instruction from the set of machine instructions can be executed to control the computer-numerically-controlled machine to effect at least a portion of the change. The execution can include operating, in accordance with the at least one machine instruction, a tool coupled with the computer-numerically-controlled machine. The tool can be configured to effect the change on the material. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

摘要: Techniques for determining print quality for a 3D printer are disclosed. An example method includes obtaining an image of a stream of material jetted from a nozzle of the 3D printer, and binarizing the image to distinguish background features from foreground features contained in the image. The method also includes identifying elements of jetted material in the foreground features, and computing statistical data characterizing the identified elements. The method also includes generating a quality score of jetting quality based on the statistical data and controlling the 3D printer based on the quality score. The quality score indicates a degree to which the elements of jetted material form droplets of a same size, shape, alignment, and jetting frequency.

Mutual communications are carried out between the controller and the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes an image capturing unit for capturing an image of an object to be imaged, an image conversion unit which converts the captured image data captured by the image capturing unit and generates converted image data according to an image format rule corresponding to the controller, a setting data creation unit which creates setting data for the converted image data, so that the converted image data can be used by the controller, and a data transmission and reception unit which carries out communications with the controller and transmits the converted image data and the setting data to the controller.

摘要: A machine tool for deburring a burred workpiece obtains shape data on the workpiece by capturing an image of the workpiece by means of a visual sensor and compares shape data on the workpiece with previously stored shape data on a deburred workpiece, thereby calculating burr data including the width, depth and position of a burr. A machining path for deburring the workpiece is generated based on the calculated burr data.
